A princess destined to stop chaos from ending the world gets involved with someone unexpected. Her simple and sweet personality makes them grow close but not everyone is able to accept their closeness.
"What?" You asked in shock, not able to believe his words. "It is known that it's a fate for the Princess born in Dungsan to break the curse by dying. By slowly giving parts of her soul to the sinned sword." You explained.
"What do you mean? What sword?" Jimin asked, suddenly intrigued. 'Does he not know about it?' You thought. With a sigh, you shook your head.
"I can't say anything else. It stays only between the princess, her equerry, and most trusted soldier." You said, bowing softly before heading back inside.
Jimin followed after you, staying by the door. "I will just say what the king told me," Jimin said. You turned to glance at him, placing the knife down on the cutting board.
"The king said this: 'If she is cursed by a mystical creature, she can marry another one and make a peace offering.'" Jimin readout of a roll of cloth.
You widened your eyes at what he had read. Jimin bowed his head and left after saying, 'Please, be at the palace at lunchtime.'
You turned around back to your kitchen, leaning on the counter. After taking a deep breath and exhaling it in a sigh, you moved some of your long hair over your shoulder.
You started cutting up the potatoes and onion, taking some eggs to make yourself an omelet.

"This way, Princess." The court lady said, gesturing with her hand to the garden. You nodded, heading out of the room through the open sliding doors.
A big building came in sight, the garden beautiful filled with flowers, cherry blossom trees and a small river and lake on one side.
It was so beautiful, you felt blessed by the sight. Your eyes soon caught sight of a man standing on a bridge crossing over one part of the river.
He was staring down at the water, his left hand resting on the handle of his sword hanging on his waist, the other playing with a coin.
Your lips parted at the sight, his jawline and side profile shinning due to the sunlight on his face. His jawline, lips, eyes. They all sparkled.
His right eyebrow soon lifted up, turning to the side and connecting his gaze to yours. You widened your eyes, not watching your step and you tripped.
You managed to keep yourself on your feet but the embarrassment was done. You straightened yourself up and fixed your skirt, hearing a small chuckle in the distance.
You glared to the side where the man used to be but he was gone, making you sigh. "Are you okay?" You heard a man say beside you.
You jumped softly at the voice, staring at the man with wide eyes. "Y-Yes, I am." You replied. It was the man from earlier.
"I'm glad. Court lady." He said, bowing to the women and the girls behind him. "Prince." They were drooling all over him. And you couldn't deny you were one of them.

He fixed his crown, glancing back at you with a warm smile, a pair of teeth similar to a rabbit's showing as he did so.
You watched him walk away once he turned around, heading to the inside of the palacewhile keeping his hand on his sword.
"That is Prince Jungkook. Son of the king." The Court lady said. You nodded your head in understatement, starting to walk the way you had to go again.
After going inside the palace, you found yourself in the King's room. The king was sitting on the throne, talking to his son.
"I cannot marry someone I don't know." Prince Jungkook said, staring at the King with wide eyes. The king's eyes though, they were on you, smiling at your presence.
"Well, you cannot say that in front of your future wife." The king said. The prince turned to look at you, his eyes still wide.
"It's you." He said in surprise. "Your grace, prince Jungkook." You said, doing a courtesy to the King. The king looked at Jungkook, sighing softly.
"You're the only I trust to take over my throne onceI'm gone. Your brothers... They are too naive and careless." The king said.
"Father..." Jungkook whispered. "Listen to me, Jungkook. Marry Princess Y/n will end the curse and provide you a place on my throne before anyone else."
Jungkook glanced at you, his eyes soft and caring but there was something you couldn't exactly take in front his eyes.
Like he was hiding something. "Father, this is impossible. What if it makes this supposed curse worse?" Jungkook asked, staring worriedly at his father.
"Jungkook, please. Just listen to your father this once." The king said, suddenly starting to cough harshly. You widened your eyes, about to run but the court lady stopped you.
"You cannot get closer to the king." The court lady said. "I know how to help him. I have cured animals and humans before." You said quickly.
The king simply lifted his hand and gestured the court lady to let you go to him. You wasted no time going up the stairs, holding your skirt up.
Jungkook stared at you all the time, his eyes soft and thankful. Once you were beside the king, you pressed your hand against his forehead.
"You'reburning." You said. "He has a fever! Take him to his room and get me warm water and a cloth." You said, seeing nobody doing anything.
You weren't part of the palace, so that's why they didn'tpay attention to you. The king's coughing finally stopped and he sighed.
"Princess Y/n. You will be my court lady from now on."
