You sat by the pond, watching the fish swimming in it and birds chirping on the trees while you ate some apples and grapes. While dangling your feet off the bench you were sitting on, you looked up at the clear sky and smile in relaxation.
The sound of footsteps filled your ear when you looked down, glancing the way they were coming from. "Junae?" You called out, Junae coming insight as she rounded the corner, a tiny table with food on it.
"It's time for lunch, Princess." She said, smiling while placing the table beside you on the bench. With a sigh, you ate the last grape and dusted your hands before turning to the table. Meat, rice, vegetables, and stew filled your nostrils with delicious scents.
You felt a sudden pain on your stomach that was there for merely a second. You chuckled, patting your stomach as you winced a bit. "Seems like the bunny is excited for your food as much as I am." You joked.
You nicknamed the baby bunny because he loved to kick and jump in your stomach since the day he turned 4 months in your belly. "Well, eat up then. I tried to make it as best as I could." Junae replied, taking a seat on the other side of the bench, in front of you.
You began eating, taking a few bites from here and there, eating the rice and the stew with a smile on your face. You felt Junae's eyes on you, looking up at her to see her staring worriedly. "What is it?" You asked, taking a piece of meat and eating it.
"Are you happy, Princess?" She asked. A chuckle came out of you, shaking your head before looking up at her. "Of course I am. Why wouldn't I be?" You replied. You heard a quiet sigh escape Junae's nose, her hands playing with her gown.
"You don't go out to the town. You only take walks in here. You never go to the market. You stay locked in here or go to the lake alone. It worries me, Princess." She says, a hint of worry and desperation in her voice.
"So? You want me to go to the town or the market?" You asked back. She shook her head quickly, turning to face you better and placing her hands on the table carefully. "No, Princess." She said.
"I want you to be okay. To be happy. But with you closing yourself off so much... It makes me believe you are just acting happy and that you're not truly happy." You looked down at the bowl of rice in front of you.
She was right, you did act happy around everyone sometimes. You did get a few days where you just didn't want to live in this world anymore. People kept talking about King Jungkook when you visited the town at first.
You couldn't bear hear his name, so, you decided to never leave your house and stay in. Junae went to the market and bought everything she needed while the guards kept an eye on you. Of course, you always sent one or two guards to follow her and protect her.
"I am happy. All I want is for my child to be born so I can take care of it and live normally." You said, continuing to eat. With a sigh, Junae nodded, getting up from the bench. "I will go do a few things, Princess. I'll prepare your tea for later." She said.
You watched her walk away before getting up, heaving a sigh. "Let's go for a walk, bunny." You said quietly, beginning to walk through the back of the house towards the lake you knew too well.
You touched the bushes as you walked through the forest up a small hill that led into a mountain, where the lake was. You heard a few bushes ruffle behind you, looking over your shoulder to see nothing.
After turning back forward, you felt the feeling of someone watching you. You decided to shake the feeling off and continue your journey, reaching the lake. You came to a stop by the water, carefully eyeing over your shoulder to see a figure quickly hide.
It looked like Jimin. You decided to do a little act to see if he would give himself out. You groaned softly, acting as if you were in pain and leaning against a tree beside you. "Aigoo~" You exclaimed out enough for him to hear you.
After a few seconds of seeing nobody was reacting, you sighed and straightened yourself up. "I know it's you, Jimin." You called out. The ruffling of bushes became louder as you turned around, the figure aproaching you slowly.
He was masked, a knife on his hand and a glow on his eyes that you couldn't exactly recognize. Your eyes widened as you protectively covered your belly, staring at the figure that was inches away from you.
"Wrong name, sweetheart." The man replied. His deep voice, his structure. It hit you. You smiled widely at the man in front of you, chuckling in disbelief. After the man stopped in front of you, he put the knife away.
