"So, this is where you have lived for the past months?" Jungkook asked as you walked through the town, alone.
"Yes. It was my family's hometown where I lived for 2 years before we moved to the village." You explained.
You stood by a stand where jewelry and bracelets were displayed. A ring and a bracelet caught your eyes, gently running your fingertips over them.
You sighed softly, sad that you couldn't get them since you had an limited budget.
You had decided to let Jungkook stay with you. You believed part of what he said, that's why you sent 2 of your guards to investigate the palace and see if he was speaking the truth.
You smiled at the vendor before walking away to the next stands. "Why did you escape the palace?" You asked.
When you didn't receive an answer, you looked behind you to see Jungkook was not there anymore.
You turned around, slightly panicking since you didn't see him anywhere until you found him by the jewelry stand, buying something.
You shrugged the though off as you waited for him to go, watching him put whatever he bought into his coat.
He thanked the vendor, smiling at the woman and heading to you with a wide smile. "You should have told me you were going to buy something." You said.
"Why? Did you get worried I disappeared?" He asked, a soft grin on his lips as he bumped his shoulder with yours.
"No. I just didn't have who to carry the bags instead." You replied, pressing the bags against his chest where he grabbed them.
He watched as you started walking ahead, a grin on his lips as he chuckled, shaking his head before following after you.
You grabbed a few more vegetables and decided to head home, passing by a well where whispers echoed out.
You saw nobody else was reacting to them, as if you were the only one hearing them, for some weird reason.
"Y/n?" You heard Jungkook say when you stopped and stared at the well. You didn't reply to him, too entranced in the whispers, wanting to head to them.
Your feet moved before you could give the command to move them, already guiding you to the well. After looking inside, you only heard the sound of the water splashing softly against the walls.
Then the whispers came again.
Y/n...
You leaned closer into the well to see better and hear better.
Come closer...
"Y/n, stop. You might fall in." Jungkook said in worry, his voice slightly shaky. A sudden bust of wind blew your hair back, making you ignore Jungkook yet again.
He placed the bags down while you leaned closer like the whispers guided you to do, beginning to walk your way.
"Y/n, stop that." He said with a more angrier tone. Villagers stopped to stare and see what was happening, many of them recognizing Jungkook.

The whispers praised, a small smile growing on your lips as you were tranced, staring at the water.
It's time to DIE!
You gasped and screamed when a sudden force pushed you over the wall of the well and you fell inside.
"Y/n!!!" Jungkook exclaimed as loud as possible. A loud splash echoed from the well while people hurried to it to see what happened with you.
Your eyes were closed as you sank deeper into the well, the water starting to put pressure around your head and body.
You gasped and coughed under water when your eyes snapped open, swallowing some water. Your hands instantly tried to swim your body upwards, but it was as if someone was pulling you deeper into the well.
Just a bit longer... hihihi....
You tried screaming out but nothing, only bubbles came out of your mouth. You stretched your hand out, hoping someone would take your hand and help you out.
Your eyes began to feel tired while more water entered your lungs, making you weakly cough at the painful and torturing feeling.
A barely noticeable feeling of someone grabbing your hand reached your mind, your eyes seeing a blurry figure swimming beside you as it pulled you upwards.
"Y/n!" Jungkook exclaimed when you reached the surface, hearing people exclaiming outside until you felt yourself move.
Jungkook patted your back harshly until you coughed out most of the water in your lungs. The light from the sun blinded you, your eyes adjusting soon after to it.
A few women and men helped you out, laying you and Jungkook down on the ground. You coughed out some more water before sitting up, your hands reaching down to your belly.
"My baby..." You whispered in worry, tears welling up in your eyes at the thought of the child not surviving.
You then began hearing the peoples whispers, hearing them wonder how you survived the fall or even not drowning.
"Y/n." "Hey, do you hear me, love?" You heard Jungkook ask in a hurried voice, your eyes finally falling upon his.
"Yes..." You whispered. Jungkook's eyebrows were furrowed, staring into your eyes while water drooplets fell from his hair, his entire body and clothes soaking wet like you.
"How did you survive that? I was thinking I was too late." Jungkook said while tears welled up in his eyes at his words. You were about to reply when a sudden stinging pain came shooting up to your chest from your belly.
You cried out, Jungkook hugging you close when you leaned backwards and sobbed.
