Red Velvet member Irene and Got8's Xiang have announced that they are expecting!

On February 1, the couple announced that they recently found out that they are expecting via posts on Instagram. Irene shared the below photo of an ultrasound on Instagram with the message, "Hello, this is Bae JooHyun. Xiang and I are going to become parents in June. I'm awaiting this with an excited heart."

On the contrary Xiang also posted a different picture of the two of them on his Instagram with the caption "We're resting up while we can. Since we'll be missing a lot of sleep starting in June. All joking on the side this is the day that both Joo and I have been waiting for for a while now and we are so so excited right now to let you all know that we are expecting a baby in June. I have never felt this happy before (well apart for when JooHyun accepted becoming my girlfriend and Fiancé and the day that we got married). I'm going to try my best now as JooHyun's husband to make sure that from now until the day our baby turns 18 years of age to stay by her side forever and to make sure that her pregnancy journey and post labor she does not stress and is able to stay relaxed and healthy physically, emotionally and mentally and as a father to be the best role model I can not just to all of you guys but also this little bundle of @_imyour_joy ( I had to 😂) JooHyun and I have yet to meet. Pray for us! We love you all and we hope that you all can continue to support us though this journey together"

The two also revealed that Irene is currently 19 weeks pregnant. As previously reported, Irene and Xiang got married in October 15th 2022 after 5 years of dating.
