"Well, I have a theory." Mako beamed. "All merfolk have powers, so if we're able to gift our powers to you, what's stopping you from receiving powers from other merfolk?" He propositioned.
"It's a nice theory, sure, but you guys are linked to me. Though I now exist in the same group as you, doesn't mean I get all the perks as all of you get." I objected. It's not fair. I'm trapped underwater but can't even survive unless I suck face with Ray every two hours. I've gotten used to it, but still, a kiss is meant to be meaningful and shared with only those you value. I just don't see Ray that way.
"Why not give it a shot? Come on, what could it hurt?" Mako shrugged and handed me and Shark our food.
"Are you talking about-" Shark began but was sharply cut off by Mako's hand covering his mouth. "U'll bf ou." Shark grumbled.
"Yes, but I want it to be a surprise." Mako breathed and removed his hand.
"Whatever." Naida shrugged and floated over to him. "When do we leave?"
"Feel like eating on the go?" He countered.
"Why not?" She smiled.
"Let's do this then!" Shark cheered and swept her up into his arms, holding her close.
"Where are we going?" Naida asked as Shark carried her out of the house and to a nearby rock outcropping, while Mako gathered the other brothers.
"Oh, you'll see. Mako wants it to be a surprise." Shark hummed. He didn't show a lot of emotion, but you could tell he was excited by the small smile on his face.
