"I guess it makes sense you don't know what they are, or that they don't exist. While mermaids and sirens are bound to the ocean because of their tails, selkies are seals who can take off their seal skin and underneath is the form of a human, so they aren't bound to the ocean as strong as you guys are, and they aren't technically human. Yawkyawks are normally merfolk, and they can either shapeshift into animals or control the weather, so I suppose those would make sense if they existed, though if you don't know about them, they probably don't. Ceasgs would also kinda make sense too, they're merfolk with trout tails and if you catch them, they grant you three wishes, it would be cool to meet one of them, though same as the yawkyawks, if you don't know about them, they most likely don't exist. And finally, naiads. They're kinda like normal people, but they're magically bound to a source of water and can't go too far away from it, though they can breathe underwater and can survive on nothing but their water source being clean." She finished, taking a deep breath.

"Wow, feel smart yet, Ray?" Lionfish sneered, earning a smack upside the head from Ray.

"You sure know your stuff." Shark smirked happily at the joyful tone Naida used while explaining her passion to them.

"O-oh... thanks. I don't normally get to talk much about merfolk and their cousins because I think it would make me seem immature in front of others, but, well I feel I can trust you guys by now." Naida smiled, a small blush on her cheeks.

"No, Naida, that's way cool though!" Lionfish praised, swimming up to her, but made sure not to touch her. "I kinda wish some of those were real, they sound fascinating. It's adorable that you have something you can feel so passionate about." He simpered and Naida's smile and blush grew.

"Stop you guys." She giggled and held her cheeks. "I gotta get some air." She sighed, unable to drop her smile. "Or... water... you know what I mean." She huffed, rolling her eyes at herself and swam off to a small drop off where the brothers couldn't see her.

Shark wouldn't like what she just did, he hates it when she's not within his sight. She'll have to apologize when she gets back.

"Ugh, why am I blushing? What they said wasn't that flattering. I've been blushing a lot recently, maybe I'm getting sick?" She pondered to herself, murmuring the words. She didn't notice the figure creeping up behind her until it laid its hand on her shoulder.
