"I need to go. If you truly care for me, have faith that I'll be alright, and I'll come back." Naida pleaded, her voice cracking.
Bowen hesitated. "Take me with you. Bring me to the ocean, show me that everything's alright, then come back to us. I can't lose you again Naida." He leaned in close to whisper in her ear and uttered, "I still love you." Then he stood up, getting off of her, and kept the other a couple of steps away from her.
"The choice is yours, now. Take us to wherever you have to go so desperately, or stay here and let us help you in every way we can." North shrugged and looked down at Naida as she sat up.
"I need to go. Go ahead and follow me, but after I get back in the ocean, you won't be seeing me for a while, just, rest assured that I'm safe and well cared for." Naida decided and glanced at Bowen's hurt expression. It broke her heart, knowing she had to leave when she might just have another chance with him, but she didn't have a choice. She walked out the door and headed to the driveway, when she patted her pocket, then turned around. "Can I have my phone back?"
"When we get there." Mist reassured her and everyone followed Naida outside. Mist turned back to the open door and shouted, "Milly, we're done now, you can come out! Come on, we're going to the beach!"
Of course Milly had been hiding, probably in her bedroom, she hates fights, especially between her friends. Naida's heart pounded with conflicting emotions, and she honestly didn't know what to do. Her mind kept telling her, Just get back to the ocean, everything will be okay once you return the ocean. Was that the ocean itself talking to her?
"It can't be just any beach. I don't know the name of it, but Riden does. Can I call him on speaker? That way we can get directions and you can make sure I'm not talking about anything shifty." Naida suggested and they nodded.
Milly came out by the time Riden picked up the phone.
"Hey... N-Natalie? Sorry, I can't remember your name." Riden chuckled nervously. "Do you need me to pick you up?"
"It's Naida, and no, my friends are going to take me back, I just need the address." She replied, smiling a little.
