"No, that wouldn't work. You can't see them." Naida shook her head and backed up against the wall.

"Ghost mermen?" North muttered, a little more intrigued.

"Naida, I really hate to do this to you, but we're going to have to keep you here until we can truly discover what's going on with you. Whether you were kidnapped, held hostage by mermaids, or probably delusional, it doesn't matter anymore. We're going to bring everything back to the way things were." Mist declare firmly and Bowen and North nodded in agreement.

"Well, by keeping her locked up, aren't we doing the same thing whoever took her was doing?" Ryla interjected.

"Guys, w-what if she's telling the truth?" Miracle peeped and Naida gave her a thankful look. Miracle had always been the biggest dreamer of the group and Naida truly loved that about her.

"Miracle." Naida awed and moved to her, wrapping her in her arms. "You guys should take a note from Miracle and learn to have more faith in your friends. Why would I lie to you about something this serious?" Naida snapped and looked down at Miracle's watch. She had less than half an hour left! And it took twenty minutes to get back to the docks! After Betta's gift wore off, she would only have around two hours before the brother's gifts wore off, then the sickness would set in.

She could be dead within the next few days if her friends kept her here.

Naida took her phone out of her pocket and started texting Riden to pick her up and she was about to send her location when Mist snatched up Naida's phone and put it in her own pocket. "Until we know who you're texting isn't in on what has been going on, no phone either." She tutted and Naida lunged for it, but Mist dodged and stepped back.

"You don't understand! I could actually die if I don't get back to the ocean!" Naida erupted, then turned to the front door. Everyone realized what she was doing when she suddenly broke into a sprint for the door. She was pulling it open when Bowen lunged for her, knocking her over and landing on top of her. He pinned her hands above her with on hand and her legs were pinned beneath his own.

"No, Naida, I'm not going to let you go. I'm scared you will die if you go to the ocean." He protested. "If you're sick, I'll care for you, but I'm not going to let you go, not knowing if you'll be safe or not."

Naida blushed, thinking this was pretty hot, but it didn't change her mind.
