It was a beautiful day in the basement of Buffy's house, as Cordy and Xander argued with each other.
"Oh, I bet you'd let a girl go off to her doom all by herself."
"Not just any girl. You're special," he replied.
"I can't believe that I'm stuck spending what will probably be my last few moments on Earth with YOU!" she blurted out.
"I hope these are my last few moments! Three more seconds with you, and I'm gonna..." he said, stepping closer.
Cordy stepped closer so that they were just inches from each other, standing in front of each other.
"I'm gonna what? Coward!"
"Moron!"
"I hate you!"

The looked at each other for another second before grabbing each other and madly, but passionately kissing one another.
