Aphmau's POV
Tears well up in the corner of my eyes as I see everyone cringing in front of me.
My ears were throbbing and I just want to go home and cry.
Lucinda was the only one not feeling any pityfor me. "See! It wasn't that bad!"
"Lucinda. I'm going to kill you." I mumble as I tenderly touch my ear.
She nervously laughs as she goes to pull her purse out of her bag, but instead, freezes.
"Where's my purse?" she voices her question as she frantically looks through her bag.
That's when my phone buzzed.
I pull it out of my pocket and see that mamá sent me a message.

Welp, that was easy. I quickly reply toher text and then tell Lucinda. "Lucinda, you left it at home."
"What??" she asks me, bewildered.
I nod my head. "Yeah, mom just text me."
"Seriously?!" she questions as I nod my head again. "Damn it!"
"Damn it indeed woman. You were supposed to pay for for this! " I complain.
I just had 10 piecings done and the total has come over $90.
Two in each of my lobes.
On my right ear I got two done on my upper helix and two on my orbital.
On my left, I just got another two on my orbital.
All of them, except my lobes, had a plain gold hoops whilst my lobes had basic gold studs with a crystal in the middle.
"So, who's paying?" Travis asks, pulling us all back to the problem in front of us.
We all glance at each other before I being to reach for my bag. However, Aaron stops me as he answers with a sigh. "I'll pay."
Before I could protest, he moves over to the front of the shop to pay. Garroth, Laurence, Dante and Travis follow him whilst Zane, Vylad, Peter and the girls stay with me.
As he does that, the woman who pierced my ears ran me through some quick instructions on how to take care of my piercings, just so that they don't get infected.
I thank her as I grab the small bag filled with cotton pads and the disinfectant, for my ears, that she was holding out for me, and then walk to the front of the store.
Once we met with the rest of the guys, we make our way out of the store and decide to stroll around the mall for a while. Well, that was until my phone buzzed again.

Meet me at the front of the mall

I reply to mamá's text with a quick okay before I lead the everyone to the front.
As soon as we get there I see mamá looking around for us. She quickly spots and meets us half way.
