You've got to help me!

Jisoo PoV

This morning I walked into the student council office with confidence and marched up to Krystal

"I quit" I stated

"You what?" She blinked her eyes

"I quit...for now I wanna go on a break with all my clubs"

"And why is that?"

"My grandfather's health is getting worse and I want to keep an eye on him" that was a half lie

"Jisoo we need you. With the winter ball coming up and loosing you as the Vice President we will go down!" One of the members reasoned

"Her grandfather's health is important right now and she doesn't need all the stress we're giving her" Krystal smiled

I was surprised that she let me off like that. I thought she would've put up a fight

"But with one condition" Oh crap she's gonna say something "You have to be my date for the ball"

"I-wHAT?!" The rest of council and I screamed the same thing

"Damn Jisoo she must really like you" one of them whispered in my ear

"Was I not clear?"

"No I heard you but I really can't"

"Why is that?" Krystal sipped on her cup of tea

"I have a date already"

"Well then continue working here with us and go with your date to the ball or have your break, see your grandfather and go with me to the ball"

I stayed silent and thought about Jennie. She would be really upset if I ended up going with Krystal but I don't have that much time with her either before she goes off to work

"I'll think about it...but why do you want to go with me to the ball anyways?"

All eyes were on her

"Because I like you"
She put her tea cup down and smiled

"WHATTT?" everyone else in the room screamed

I just fell backwards in shock
"I-I you- wow that was unexpected"

"Well see you guys later I've got other clubs to get going to"

"I'm expecting a reply Jisoo"

I jumped when she spoke

"Y-yeah I'll text you"

I walked out of the room with this sick feeling in my stomach knowing that my girlfriend would not like this

As I was walking to class I saw Lisa and pulled her by her tie

"You've got to help me!"

"Woah Jisoo what happened to you?"

"It's Krystal she's making my life impossible"

"What happened?"

...

20 minutes later

"Damn Jisoo you're screwed!"

"I know"

Lisa scowled
"I had a hunch that bitch liked you"

"Why do you hate her so much?"

"One day she told Chaeyoung that she was only seen as Jennie's follower and said that it's almost as if she was a pet" Lisa clenched her fists "I got so mad but Chaeng told me to back off so I just told Krystal to watch what she was saying and didn't lay any hands on her"

"But you would if Roseanne wasn't there"

"Yup"

"I didn't know Krystal was that rude"

"Yeah well anyways. I guess you need to talk to Jennie about the date situation but look hear me out since you guys are keeping your relationship a secret maybe it is a good idea to go with Krystal"

"But I want to dance with Jennie" I pouted

"People would definitely know you were dating by then. Don't forget your girlfriend is a celebrity paparazzi would find out she's going to this ball and would want to take pictures of her"

"Yeah I don't know Lisa" I sighed "this ball means a lot to her but I do want to spend time with her before she gets back to work"

"I mean you don't have to actually spend the whole night with Krystal. You only need to walk into the place with her and drive her to the venue"

"For real?"

"Yeah she doesn't get along with me, Jennie and Chaeyoung anyways so why would she want to spend her time with us during this ball?"

"You do have a point Lisa but when Krystal told everyone she liked me the word will spread so if I went to a ball with her as her date! People would definitely think we are a couple and I don't need that"

"Just tell people the deal then and say I don't like her I have a girlfriend"

"What if they asked it was Jennie?"

"Just say it's someone outside of school"

"You're so clever!" I hit her back

"Owww!"
