Peter watched in horror, his eyes clouded over as he watched the man he had started calling dad snap his fingers.
The teenager screamed immediately, watching Tony's body lurch back onto the ground. The creatures surrounding The hero's began to turn to dust like Peter once had.
The curly haired boy let another scream rip out as his eyes clouded with tears. He rushed to Tony, collapsing in front of him. Dirt smudged on his face and a stampede of tears rolling down the child's face.
Nobody was stopping him as they knew how close the duo were. Peter grabbed his fathers hand in his, gripping it slightly.
"I'm sorry." He whispered out, voice cracking in his words as he let out a sob. The tears didn't stop and it looked like he had waterfalls falling from his eyes.
Peters senses were not helping as he listened to the fading of his idols heart. The soft thumping sound fading out until it was no more. Peter kept mumbling 'oh no' over and over, his head falling into Tony's chest as sobs racked through his body.
As everybody kneeled, Peter heard one last thump before it was total silence.
