Estrogen (E)
Es-tro-gen

any of a group of steroid hormones which promote the development and maintenance of female characteristics of the body. Such hormones are also produced artificially for use in oral contraceptives or to treat menopausal and menstrual disorders. (Used in MtF)

So, in simpler terms, what do they mean?

E and T are hormones (Pills) given to transgender people to help ease dysphoria.

T - Testosterone helps Female to Male transgendered people with their journey. It will deepen their voice, help them grow leg/arm hair, slow down breast development etc.

E - Estrogen helps Male to Female transgendered people with their journey, as T does for FtM. It will make your voice higher pitched, breast development, periods will start, etc.

How old can you be to start T/E?
Typically around 16. Different states are different, though.

Well, do you know about T and E now? Do you think you could explain it to friends or family? Either way, thanks for reading! Love all you, babes 😘
