Lol I've already known that this particular friend of mine tends to call my OC Marce instead of Mrace, so lemme clear this up a bit XD

The magenta porcupine I most commonly use as my main OC is named Mrace. Pronounced as Mer-ace. 'Mer' as in the beginning to the word 'mermaid' and 'ace' as in the Ace of Spades ♠

I originally got this idea for an OC name when I was just fooling around, trying to go to sleep and my mind just happened to drift off in no particular direction.

As a kid, I used to have this game called Sonic Advance 3. It had five total characters: Sonic, Tails, Knuckles, Amy, and the cutest duo ever, Cream and Cheese! owo

I, unfortunately, had only unlocked the first four characters.

So as I was strolling down a rather nostalgic path of memory lane, for some reason I thought that the fifth and final character's name was May, literally an anagram for Amy.

I was wrong - obviously - but that got me thinking.

What other names could I make out of canon character's names?

So Cream was my first choice.

. . . she was also my final choice since I found a name that completely fit my character 😋

If you notice, Mrace is an anagram for Cream (anagram meaning that the letters are just switched around).

M - R - A - C - E

C - R - E - A - M

Ya see it?

Eh, it was stupid and completely random, but it was unique and original. So I kept the name!!

And guess what?

It 👏 has 👏 stuck 👏 for 👏 two 👏 years

Mrace just became her permanent name from then on 👍

Oh and by the way, I've had someone call her Marice before XD
