Greetings and salutations, my fellow readers and friends! Welcome to another chapter of my randomness book where today I will be showing off an artwork based off of the Sonic movie!! :D

I literally drew this image right after watching the movie with my brother, my cousin, my grandma, and my great-grandma ;-;

Like, I went to go watch the movie the day right after it was scheduled to release. So I've had this drawing just chilling in my Photos for a while XD

At least I'm showing it off now!!

Lol Movie Sonic is literally the cutest fucking thing ever. I will fight anyone who says otherwise 😤

If you guys didn't already know, I have a little headcanon where Movie Sonic finds a jacket in Tom Wachowski's attic – the cop's old highschool varsity jacket – and wears it for the majority of the movie (with some scene exceptions, obviously).

Of course, Tom doesn't like that, but Sonic keeps pestering and pestering like the little kid that he is until Tom finally gives in :3

On the back of the jacket, it says 'Wachowski'. You can't see that with Sonic's back turned though lol

So have this small space hedgehog uwu

Oh yeah, the Golden Gate Bridge picture in the warp ring's background was a stock image I found online on a website called Britannica.com 👍

Y̶o̶u̶ ̶t̶h̶o̶u̶g̶h̶t̶ ̶I̶ ̶d̶r̶e̶w̶ ̶t̶h̶a̶t̶ ̶b̶e̶a̶u̶t̶i̶f̶u̶l̶ ̶l̶a̶n̶d̶s̶c̶a̶p̶e̶?̶ ̶H̶a̶,̶ ̶l̶o̶s̶e̶r̶s̶.̶

This was just the final outcome, though. I went through a whole process . . .

The sketch. Messy and basic. Chaos, I hate sketches. They look so . . . chaotic XP

Luckily, I cleaned it right up with the next step :)

The lineart. Probably one of my favorite parts about this whole process aside from the end result itself. It's clean and neat. And my OCD doesn't freak out at the sight of it lol

The base colors. I had found a base pallet for Movie Sonic on Google and it matched perfectly. The colors are nice and vibrant, standing out all together so beautifully.

Then the shading and highlighting. The way I highlight is (hopefully) different than other's methods, but I'm thinking about switching it up. It looks too fake, too shiny. However, I will still be using a similar method.

And I've already shown you the background and signature. Not exactly the best of backgrounds, but I just wanted something simple. Something easy on the eyes 👁️👁️
