Hey there, benevolent overlord here just to say a thing or two!
The first 12 chapters are all out and have introduced the characters, and to a more limited extent, the world in which they live.
The next arc will center a little more on the rules of magic, the reasons it isn't used for absolutely everything, and how it effects the world.
Hopefully things don't get too confusing and you'll be able to see some smaller details used in earlier chapters that connect back to this arc here.
