Definition of love:
Love...
"Aaaahhhhh love" *heaves a long sigh, places my elbow on the table, my head in my palm, closes my eyes and imagine my knight in shining armor on his white horse coming through the window that I forgot to open!!!
This is what we all want? Right? This is what all the love stories are full of, the girl, the prince and the happily ever after.... we all want that kind of love stories talk about. We all want love in our lives....
But
Love is one of the most important things we teenagers face, and unfortunately rare are those who really understand the meaning of such a word.... so let's a minute and actually define LOVE
Love isn't a single emotion rather than being a group of connected feelings forming an unbreakable chain... love is sacrifice, loyalty, honesty, modesty, caring, sharing, selfishness, pride, power and the list could go on.... but there is one thing people have mistaken in love....
Love is an emotion shared between 2 persons, but not necessarily leading to a relation or marriage. Also it is not necessarily between opposite genders.... I mean you love your best friend right?
You love your family, friends, teachers, people around you and you even lovr your pet for example... love is an act more than a feeling to be exact...
So it is not necessary to limit love and a boy loving a girl or vice versa.... no that's a false misunderstanding!!
A quote of an eminem song says "Have you ever loved someone so much you'd give an arm for. Not the expression, no literally you'd give an arm for...."
When I used to hear musics and listened to this song, I was like naaaaahh never had such type of love, but then I imagined one of my family members being injured and I knew that without an eye blink I'd give them not just an arm, but an eye, a leg, a kidney, a lung.... I'd give them anything. And it was then when I knew what true love really is
You know what really spoiled our thought of love, TV did!!yes the television... you see half of us teenagers grow with Disney , and in its movies the princess always live happily ever after and enjoys her life with her prince and bla bla bla... both of them are perfect or close to perfection and their love story is ahhhhh Just makes u wanna fall in love and experience such a thing
BUT NOOO !!! Life isn't about this love!!! If you noticed, their new movies now are either talking about a mother daughter love, sisters love or friends love and trust me guys once you figure out and understand what true love is, you will know that if you have this love, you have eveything...
You wanna hear stories of true love, well listen to the story of sayydna Bilal RA and the Prophet Muhammad Peace be upon him....
Bilal was the mo-athhen at that time, the one who calls for prayers and performs athan, but after the Prophet's SAW death, Bilal stopped performing athan, and he even left madinah... it was just too much for him and he left
AFTER TWENTY YEARS!!! After twenty years he came back and once he came he performed athan... people came out flodding. They thought that the prophet was alive again!!!!
After 20 Years!!! Their love for him never died eveh after 20 years!!! And stories like this are a lot... the Companions RA of the Prophet SAW had a great love for him and they were ready to do anything for him, just like you and I are ready to do anything for our beloved ones
This is true love sisters!! This is the love we can brag with
LOVE FOR THE SAKE OF ALLAH SWT
And just be sure of something that the only love that lasts is that in the sake of ALLAH!!!
