Mahir's POV

We came to the car and I made her sit comfortably.

Soon we reached Aanand's place.

"You okay Surbhi " I asked and she nodded

"We'll go back tomorrow itself" I said

" I really want my mumma's hug Mahir" she whispered

"I know. Just a night here." I said

"But why not today" she asked like a kid

"Because we can't move to home as you're not so well and everyone will be more tensed to see you like this." I said and she nodded.

The lady doctor was already waiting there.

"Just a minute doctor." I said and she nodded

I took Surbhi upstairs to Aanand's room and from Priya's wardrobe I gave her something comfortable to wear.

"You change. I'm waiting outside" I told and she nodded.

After she changed I called doctor upstairs to the guest room.

"I'll check her once." Said the doctor

"Yeah. I'll wait outside." I told and was about to go when Surbhi stopped me.

" What happened Surbhi. You need something" I asked and she nodded

"What" I asked

"You" she said gesturing me to sit and I looked at her nodding.

Doctor pulled her palazzo up and her leg was all red.

I clenched my palm. She's facing just because of me.

"Oh Jesus!! It's badly hurt" said doctor while Surbhi looked at me.

"No doctor. It's okay . Not much hurting" she smiled

" I can see it Surbhi. I'm not a kid." I frowned

"I'll give her an injection. Pain will be reduced. I'm writing some medicines too. Give those on time and yeah use hot water bag for massage and then apply this ointment. You'll be good soonest " instructed doctor and was preparing injection.

"Injection " She said and I looked at her. She's frightened by this.

"One minute. Someone said me that it's just injection " I smirked and she pouted.
This girl can make me smile in any situation.

The doctor prepared the injection and gave her. She closed her eyes tightly and held my hand.

I smiled and intertwined her hand with mine while The doctor looked at us and smiled.

"Done" she said smiling and I nodded.

"Baby. It's done." I whispered and she opened her eyes.

"You give her these medicines on time and apply this ointment " told the doctor standing up

"Come I'll drop you downstairs " I offered

"No Mr.Maheshwari.Be with her. She needs you more. I'll go. Take care of her" Said the doctor and I nodded smiling .

I came back to the room. She was trying to adjust her palazzo down.

"Wait wait. What are you doing. Wait." I said

"But then who'll do it. Doctor went away" She told

I didn't say anything. I sat on the bed took her leg on my lap.

"Ma....Mahir what are you doing.It's not right to keep my legs on you" She said and I shushed her up.

Sometimes she's the most modest girl I've ever seen and then sometimes she's so superstitious.
