Lunch break is a absolute gift for all of the students of Auradon Prep. Same appkies for Hedith's group. They found sanctuary under a table under a tree in the campus yard and decided to take that as their regular hang out place.

"I can't believe I am forced to take Remedial Goodness," Hedith whined, bonking her forehead on the wooden table. Celia snickered at her while Dizzy silently laughs, "Apparently saving Auradon isn't enough to be good."

"Well, you are a brat," Celia blandly lets out, earning a glare from Hedith.

"And here comes your rival?" Dizzy said, rather teasingly. Hedith can't even believe that Dizzy had it in her. But she did grew up in the Isle so it might just be self explanatory.

"What rival? I don't have a ri—"

"Hi, Hedith," Jane said as she pops right beside her. Dizzy and Celia snickered and continued on their lunch as Hedith mentally kicks the two of them in the hinds. Jane is smiling at her and Hedith gave a more constraint one.

"Hey, Jane. So what's up?"

"I'm sorry about Mom making you take Remedial Goodness but I hope this helps," she said as she hands Hedith a black notebook with a red dog pawprint on the leather cover, "That's Carlos' old notes and I asked him if you can borrow it since it can help you."

"Why didn't he give it personally?" Dizzy asked, as Celia continues to hide her laughs.

"Oh, he's in fencing practice right now so he can't come," Jane answered, unfazed by the two other girl's behaviors.

"Fencing practice? At lunchtime?" Hedith asked, her right eyebrow raising. Jane sighed and hrugged her shoulder.

"Well, the life of an Auradon varsity, I guess."

"Can girls try out for fencing?" Hedith sent a glare towards Celia's direction as she sent her a sly smile, "Because I think Hedith here could deliver some nice try."

"Aww, I wish so. But only boys are allowed to play. Lonny was only girl that is able to become part of it because Jay mended the rules by making her team captain," Jane said and Hedith hummed.

"Who's Lonny?"

"Why, she's Fa Mulan's daughter. She's currently on a tournament all over the United States of Auradon so Jay's the one managing the team," Jane said and Hedith nodded, thoughtfully.

"What club can I enter in? Sounds fun," she asked with a smile. Jane hummed in thought and looked around to think of a suitable club that Hedith might like to try out.

"Well, there's the bookworm's club. The swimming team,"

"Lemme guess...Melody's in that team?" Hedith cuts off.

"She's already an alumna. Her younger sister is, though," Jane corrected.

"Great. Any other sports I can join into?"

"Well, there's not much sports here that lets girls join, but if you want...you can always join the cheerleaders," there is something about the cheerleaders that made Hedith grimace. Maybe because of the stereotypical view of them or just because of those really short skirts that are blessed by the Aphrodite with human sex appeal. Sure, she wears skirts, but not without leggings underneath.

"On the second thought, I'll just busy myself with working on the Evie's 4 Hearts," she said, turning away from Jane.

"Well, that's your choice. I heard from Uma that you could dance pretty well so the cheerleaders might actually let you in."

"No, thank you."

"Alright, then. See you, girls, later," and Jane walks away from the three.

Hedith looked at Carlos' notebook for a second before tossing it across the table towards Dizzy who caught it, cloppily.

"Watch it, Hedith. This is a borrowed item," she scolded her and Celia snickered, more obviously this time.

"Yeah, borrowed from her crush by his girlfriend. How thoughtful."

"Will all of you just shut up? I don't have a crush on Carlos and I don't care about that notebook because Remedial Goodness is probably a child's play anyway," Hedith declared, sipping from her juice.

"But she still took effort in helping you," Dizzy pointed out, putting the notebook gently on the table.

"Yeah, it's like you--"

"We are done discussing this and that's final," she angrily imparted to them with matching glare. This silenced the two and their table. The three girls ate their lunches in peace this time until the warning bell for the afternoon shifts went off.

---

"Yo, pops!" Hedith said as she enters the house that Mal had provided them. All the villains are not yet allowed to go to their own places in Auradon for security measures, as they say. Hades was slightly cool with it, since at least he's out of the Isle now and are not spending time with his two daughters but the restrictions of magic is what made the god be slightly cool with it.

"I'll be at Evie's place for a while, but I'll be back before dinner so..." she stopped when she entered the kitchen and saw a woman with long and wavy blond hair, dressed in a white dress and pink plum shoes. Her back is facing Hedith as she tinker by the stove, "Who are you and what are you doing in our kitchen?"

The woman turned around and Hedith inhaled sharply. She is probably the most beautiful woman she had ever seen. Her skin is evenly tan, like the sun favored her greatly and did her a favor in giving her a perfect shade of skin. Her eyes bears that kind and soft personality with her soft edges and pink irises.

"You must be Hedith," the woman speaks with a kind smile. She sets down the plate on the counter and even that she makes it look so graceful, "You look so beautiful."

"Umm...thanks, I guess?"

"Did I hear someone say Hedith?" a boastful voice then said coming from the top of the stairs. Hedith's head snapped to its direction and saw a rotund man dress in black sweatpants and oversize shirt, even for him. She somehow wonders from what kind of giant did he get that over sized Nirvana shirt.

His face holds a jolly smile, despite his eyes looking as if he had not slept for a month. His nose of a perfect hook and his hair is a nest of black. Despite all that, Hedith can't help but admit to herself that he still hold some kind of charm. Undead charm, that it.

He's now at the foot of the stairs and he opened his arms wide, "Aww, come here and hug your Uncle Thanatos."

"My Uncle what?"

"Don't be like that, dear. Come on!" Ignoring Hedith's horrified look, the guy still went in to hug her. She on the other hand took all measures just to get away from him. She doesn't do hugs from a guy who looked like Baymax was abandoned in a coal factory.

"Alright, alright, you giant marshmallow. You're scaring her," now that is a familiar voice to Hedith. The man finally loosen his grip and Hedith managed to crawl away from him and towards Hades who just entered the kitchen from the backyard.

"Dad, tell me you know these people because I am so confused right now."

The woman went to Hades' side and snaked an arm around his shoulder and kissed him lovingly on the cheeks which made Hedith's eyes widened in utter shock. That was the final thing she needed before she puts two and two together.

"Hedith, that is Thanatos and this is your Aunt Persephone. They'll be staying for a while so get to know them."

Next thing Hedith needed no is a great amount of slobber on her face and something big pinning her down.
