The police came and examined Monika. They said it seemed she just passed out from exhaustion and stress. Also, she would be in the hospital for one night, just to make sure she was okay.
Thankfully, she was. Sayori sat next to a sleeping Monika on the chair next to the hospital bed, crying already. "I'm sorry the rainclouds won't go away. I'm sorry for what I said. I shouldn't have ran." She sobbed harder. "Im so sorry, Monika. So so sorry. I beg you, please take me back." Unbeknownst to Sayori, Monika was awake, just groggy. But she heard everything Sayori said.
"I love you, Monika..."
"I...love you too...Sayori."
