Sarah wakes up at 1 in the morning hearing a crash in the kitchen. she darts out of bed and runs downstairs with her phone. she gets into the kitchen and her mum is on the floor. the food her mum probably made is on the floor. her heart pounds
"MUM!" she screams
she runs to her mum's body and checks for life finding a weak pulse. she calls 911
"911 what's your emergency?" the woman asks
"hello please send help my mum fell i don't know what happened she's barely breathing" Sarah panics
soon the sirens are approaching and she holds her mum's hand. the paramedics take her away from her mum as two start to get her mum on a stretcher.
"does your mum have any issues miss Winter?" an officer asks her
"n-n-not that i know of. wait! she suffered from anorexis for the last two years, but s-she's been getting better" Sarah says "other t-than that my mum is healthy as can be"
he nods and she sits on the hood of the cop car. she calls the first person that comes to mind.
soon Bradley, Tristan, Connor, and James are all awake and Bradley is driving to her house. he gets there and he gets out of the car leaving James to get it parked better. he runs to Sarah and she cries softly as she hides her head in his chest. he holds her closer than ever. afraid that if he lets her go she'll break the other boys walk over as she cries into Bradley's chest. the boys don't say a word. they are too worried.
"why don't we go to the hospital?" Bradley asks her as she sniffles and pulls away softly "go check on your mum. tonight we're not leaving your side beautiful"
he picks her up thanking the world that she's so light weight and he's strong. he gets her in the car and buckles her up. he sits beside her and Tristan drives them all to the hospital. when they get there Sarah is almost asleep in Bradley's arms. he helps her walk inside and James goes to the counter to find out what room Mrs winter is in
"m-mum won't be able to travel" Sarah says as her body trembles "w-what could have h-happened?"
Bradley shakes his head and pulls her onto his lap.
"Sarah don't cry love. your mum is strong. she'll fight this as much as possible" Bradley whispers to her
then the nurse allows all 5 of them into the room. Sarah looks at her mum as her mum's eyes open. she sits beside the hospital bed and Bradley stands right beside her chair playing with her hair. the doctor walks in and looks at all 5 of them
"what happened doctor?" Connor asks
"seems like Mrs. winter's heart had stopped beating for two minutes" the doctor says "her body had shut down from lack of food"
Sarah's heart breaks and Bradley knows it. her mum looks at Sarah weakly
"sweetheart i'm ok really" her mum says
"we're going to keep her in for at least two weeks. it's a miricle she's even alive at this point" the doctor states
he walks out and Sarah acts brave
"mum i'm going to be here every second of the day. to help you" she says in almost a whisper
"no sweetheart. you go on tour." her mum insists
"mum i can't leave you!" Sarah says softly
her mum looks at the boys and then back at Sarah
"love mummy's been like this a long time now" her mum says "the doctors will realize it but the cost for you here as well is way too much. you will be safer with these boys"
