chapter 8 (is it really you?)

Sarah came home 3 months ago to find everything had changed. her mum died. Sarah is all alone. she is living in a cheap worn down house and working full time at a local diner. she has one friend only and that's Marissa Ann jones. her coworker.

Sarah smiles as she hands a man about her age his order

"there you go sir" she says smiling

"thanks miss" he says smiling

she nods and walks to the back room. Marissa finishes cooking and sets her apron down

"i'm so sick of this job" she says

"yeah but we need the money" Sarah says

Marissa rolls her eyes and nods

"so are you going to The Vamps concert tonight?" she asks

Sarah shakes her head

"they are a great band but umm i don't have any tickets" she says

Marissa smiles and pulls out two

"my date canceled. so you are my date now" Marissa says smiling "we're going to sneak backstage though"

Sarah can't really say no. Marissa rarely smiles this much. she takes the ticket and goes to her small dirty home. she goes inside and walks to her bedroom. which is just a matress on a metal frame.  she sighs and sits down taking off her high heels. she goes to her closet and takes out a pink halter top and a black leather skirt. she puts on pink pumps and grabs her purse looking at herself in the mirror as she grabs her leather jacket.

"i've grown up" she mumbles to herself

she puts on dark red lipstick and then Marissa walks in. Marissa smiles at her. her red hair with blonde tips sticking out against her loose shirt and ripped black skinny jeans. complete with one inch heels.

"ready to go?" Sarah asks her softly

"course!" Marissa says softly

they both walk to the car and Marissa drives since Sarah needs new glasses 'cause hers are broken. she can't see without them. she's wearing her last contacts but she still can't see enough with them to drive legally. they get to the concert and get their seats. they are in the back yet still closer to the stage since it's a small show. they watch the show honestly Sarah screams so much from excitement when it starts. as they get to a break Brad goes to his mic again

"how are you all doing tonight?!?!?!" he asks smiling as he scans the audience

James does as well and James spots Sarah. she looks down and James whispers something in Brad's ear

"we're going to be playing one very special song tonight it's dedicated to our great friend Sarah Winter" Brad says "here's 'Cecilia'"

her heart almost beats out of her chest as they start the song. as Brad sings the song his eyes keep looking over to Sarah. she just stands there in complete shock as she keeps her eyes away from him. then she looks up thinking he isn't looking. his eyes lock with hers and she can't move her eyes. he breaks the stare as he has to do his singing and almost forgot the lyrics. after the concert she and Marissa go backstage. Sarah looks at the body guard as he stops her

"i'm Sarah Winter umm Brad's friend" Sarah says softly

"yeah right do you know how many girls want to be her?" he asks smirking "run along ladies"

Brad walks through the hall and he glimps over. he sees Sarah and runs over

"Sarah!!" he says

the body guard lets her through and same for Marissa. Brad holds Sarah spinning her in his arms setting her down gently but not breaking the hug

"Sarah i missed you so much!" he says

she holds onto him and he doesn't let her go

"i missed you too Brad" she whispers

they pull apart and she smiles at Marissa

"Marissa this is Brad Simpson my friend" Sarah says "Brad this is my coworker and best friend Marissa Jones"

he shakes her hand and she smiles. the other boys soon find them. Sarah runs into James's arms. Sarah hugs each of them and they all smile at her as her eyes wander to Brad. James pats her shoulder

"boys this is Marissa Ann Jones" Sarah says smiling

Connor smiles at Marissa and they start to talk about music. Brad walks over to Sarah and rests his hands on her waist

"i-i w-was afraid you got hurt" he says as tears form "i went to your families house and t-there was blood on the steps and police were around"

she rests a hand gently on his cheek

"it was a different family love i promise" she says

he nods weakly

"w-where are you and your mum living?" he asks

"Sarah we better get home. both of us have work tomorrow" Marissa says "Connor says he's driving me"

"i'll drive you Sarah" Bradley says softly

she hesitates but nods her head. they say their goodbyes and she tells him when to turn. they get to her house and he parks. neither of them move. he doesn't unlock the door for her. if even possible they aren't breathing. as if afraid of loosing the moment. then without warning they both turn. their lips crash into each others. he unbuckles and she slides onto his lap. he opens his car door sliding out and holding her ass as she jumps into his arms. he carries her to the door and sets her down. she unlocks the door and opens it turning on the light. he follows her to the bedroom as she slides off her shirt. he kisses her collarbone and slides his shirt off laying her down on the bed.

Connor and Marissa kiss more as he undresses her the rest of the way thrusting into her as soon as he slides on protection. she lets out a loud moan. his pace quickens as she scratches up his back. he slides in and out as he gently leaves love marks up and down her body.

Brad smiles as he lays beside Sarah. their sweaty body still close together as he wraps his arms around her

"i still love you Sarah" he whispers

"i still love you too" Sarah whispers to brad "i never stopped"

he kisses her softly. and that's how they fall asleep. in each others arms.

Connor smiles as Marissa snuggles into his chest

"Marissa will you go out with me?" Connor asks her softly

she smiles wide and kisses him

"i'd love to" she says smiling

he smiles. he's dating a 17 year old girl. he can't wait to find out just what is in store for him and her
