Catherine didn't know if attending a reunion was  a perfect thing to do, Natasha had called her to inform her about it

"Catherine I don't want to look for you there. You have no choice,you are certainly coming"Natasha had said with a tone of finality.

She was on the counter thinking when Vera and Tosin walked, they were both wearing identical jean trousers with white shirt. They looked so great, sometimes Catherine felt like a third wheel in the friendship but their actions proved otherwise.

Tosin first went to the fridge and brought out a tub of ice cream

"Just know you are paying 2000 for that"Catherine said as a matter of a fact

"What is 2,000?"Tosin sneered and placed it on Catherine's body

Catherine was surprised,that was the first time Tosin ever paid for something

"This is certainly the work of God"Catherine remarked. Vera was too busy ordering for rice and plantain

"We came for the latest gist"Vera said

"Which latest gist?"Catherine inquired

"About Dike of course,when are you planning your wedding cos I can't wait to eat wedding rice and see my god children"Vera explained

"We just started dating"Catherine protested

"It's being 3 months already na"Tosin said dramatically

"What about you Tosin,have you accepted that guy in your office?"Vera inquired

"No o,his a womanizer,I can't deal with that kind of man, I'll just beat him to this death"Tosin was just like that. She was a tomboy during her teen days and it still reflected, Catherine could remember when she had beat up a guy for calling her a senseless girl.

"Vera did you hear of our reunion?"Catherine asked

"Yeah, George informed me and asked if you would come"

"As if he cares"Catherine snorted

"Are you going?"Tosin asked

"I don't think so,I don't want to see him, he'll probably bring that his girlfriend along"

"You are sounding like a jealous wife"Tosin teased

"You sound like you still have feelings for George,I hope not because you already have a boyfriend. Consider Dike and kill whatever feelings you have for George"Vera advised.

Catherine thought about it, she couldn't stop.

Golden Tulips was the best hotel in the state,what she expecting?Most of the kids who attended  Emperor High School were rich and they were all successful people already.

Catherine didn't know why she kept ransacking her wardrobe,she didn't want to look inferior and she probably wanted to look good for some reasons.

She finally settled for a white maxi gown, she was so terrible at picking dresses but the gown looked good on her,so why not?

She applied her makeup and before 7PM, she was at the event. Many flashy cars were parked, Catherine didn't come along with her car since it was with the mechanic.

The hall was large,like really large. It had banners that was boldly written on it,the word; reunion and some other stuffs Catherine did not bother to read.

And then the whole decor screamed wealth,bright lights and sound system were under mounted. The DJ was playing some soft music at the background. There were not more than 30 people present and Catherine regretted coming early
