“Stop poking around.”

Chen An’s elbow accurately hit Lu Feng’s chest, without mercy. The handsome man sitting next to him uttered a silent ouch, and his hand which had secretly crawled onto Chen An’s thigh under the bedclothes, tamely drew back.

When Chen An sat by him, Lu Feng wanted to draw near and rub shoulders with him; once their skin were in touch, he again wanted to touch more of it.

Chen An was acting like a magnet while Lu Feng was the metal, always feeling the pull. Yet unfortunately, Chen An wasn’t a person who enjoyed casual touches. When he was not under the influence of desire, he wouldn’t hesitate to smack a person who touched him; hitting Lu Feng with his elbow was probably a sign of favor.

Lu Feng immediately behaved himself after this and dared not cross any boundaries; otherwise he would be kicked out of bed the next time and would have to spend the night on the sofa.

Inwardly afraid he might get the order to march to the living room, but outwardly he maintained his handsome poker face. Without a trace of awkwardness, he switched to the matter before them, “An, do you believe what Dong Xie said?”

“The guy had no need to lie to us. And the cost of lying would be too high. Resourceful as he is, he cannot fight a monstrous firearms group on his own. Dong Xie was very much aware, if he lied to us, it would not only end badly for him, it would also end badly for Lin Hao.”

The problem was, even though they knew who was behind the incident in Syria, Lu Feng could not take the traitors down without enough evidence.

Lu Feng no doubt controlled most part of the Brothers Group, but his hands couldn’t go as far as Chen An’s once did, and he hadn’t as much authority. Let alone the fact that there were already people in the group who felt defiant towards him after the Old Fox ‘died’.

Chen An glanced over at the man turned suddenly quiet. Seeing Lu Feng hang his head with a frown, he could make a rather good guess at what the other was thinking.

“Stop blaming yourself. People in the western division probably wanted to rebel when I was still in charge. They did it now because after I left, some people in the group began to have second thoughts and they saw an opportunity.”

Chen An’s words sobered Lu Feng up right away. What he needed to do now was not feeling remorse about what he did; Chen An did not need a man of empty regrets who only knew how to say “I’m sorry”.

Their priority, at this point, should be to gather evidence of the western division’s plotting against the group, and then root out those traitors in justifiable ways. But the question was, where to begin?

“An, it was really thoughtful of you to not fully disclose to anyone around me.” Thinking of what Dong Xie said yesterday, Lu Feng frowned, “but if the Red Fox was the mole planted by the western division, she must have told them everything about you.”

Chen An kept it from everyone including the Red Fox out of caution; he didn’t really expect her to be the one working for the western division.

Chen An did show his knowledge about the western division in front of Red Fox, which must have caught her attention. But apart from Lu Feng, no one knew who he really was, and people of the western division couldn’t possibly make the connection between him and the Old Fox, even if they noticed him.

Arms before his chest, Chen An asked, “Lu Feng, what do you think of Red Fox?”

“She’d always been loyal to both you and the organization.” Lu Feng did not mince his words. If Chen An hadn’t established in the first place that Dong Xie wasn’t lying, Lu Feng would not believe the Red Fox was plotting against him with the western division.
