"i wish i were..."

it was finally thanksgiving and the byers's and the hopper's were 5 minutes away from the wheeler's house.

will's heart pounded as they drove through the neighborhood while mike stared out the window in anticipation.

"mike," karen put a pie in the oven. "you've been staring out that window for 2 hours now, i'm sure they'll be here any minute.

"okay, but what if i get distracted and i don't see then pull up? mike argued.

"michael, will you just please be patient." karen sighed.

mike rolled his eyes and turned back to the window.

their car pulled up in his driveway and he ran to the door. he opened it and there was his boyfriend stepping out of the car.

the minute will saw him he sprinted to mike and practically jumped on him.

they engulfed each other into a big hug and both started crying.

"i missed you so much." mike cried.

"i missed you too." will whispered.

karen looked at the two boys and smiled. she knew that they were together and had no problem with it, but she wouldn't dare tell her husband because he would definitely have something to say about it.

"uh, i have hot food in my hand, so can you guys move?" jonathan grunted and the boys stepped out of the way.

joyce and hopper followed behind him and eleven was the last to step inside. she closed the door behind her and gave mike a hug.

"it's good to see you, mike." el smiled.

"yeah, it's good to see you too."

nancy came down the stairs and went up to jonathan, giving him a kiss and a hug. they talked for a bit and then she came over to see will and el.

"hey, guys!" she greeted and hugged them.

she then saw that mike and will had their hands intertwined and assumed they wanted alone time.

"hey, el, i just bought a whole bunch of new makeup, do you want to come try it out with me?" nancy asked.

"sure, that sounds fun." el replied.

nancy winked at the boys and took el upstairs.

mike then pulled will into the basement.

when they got down there, they immediately started kissing.

this wasn't like any of their past kisses which were small and sweet, no, this was a passionate, longing kiss. both boys had longed to be together and now here they were.

mike and will then shifted onto the couch and decided to ask for entrance into will's mouth, which will gladly accepted.

will hadn't made out with anyone before, and was glad that it was mike, even though mike's first was el.

both panted when they finally pulled away after another 30 seconds.

"i waited so long to do that." mike breathed.

"me too." will smirked.

when he thought about mike and eleven doing it, his smile faded.

"you used to do that with el, didn't you?" will asked and touched the back of his neck.

"will," mike repositioned himself. "el and i did make out before, and sure maybe i liked it, but my feelings for her are gone. you're the only person i want to be with."

mike intertwined his hand with will's.

"okay." will sighed.

"okay." mike nodded.

mike then smiled to his boyfriend.
