"i wish i were..."

"i just don't know why she had to barge in like that." will said to robin on the phone.

"people are just like that, my very, very gay friend." robin replied.

"'my very, very, gay friend?' no one has ever called me that before." will chuckled.

"that's because you've never had a very, very lesbian friend." robin answered and will laughed.

"i'm really glad i have you to talk to now, robin." will smiled.

"me too." robin agreed.

will looked at his watch and saw that it was 12:49. he was supposed to go to alexander's house to hang out.

"hey, robin, i should probably get going." will stated.

"okay, i'll talk to you later, bye." robin and will hang up.

"mom, i'm leaving!" will called.

"have fun, will!" joyce yelled back.

"you're going to alex's?" el asked as she walked down the stairs.

"yeah, but i won't be there for too long, i'm just going to catch up with him." will explained.

"okay. have fun, will." she responded.

"bye." will waved.

he biked to alex's house and rang the doorbell.

"hey, will," alex answered. "come in."

"hey." will smiled and stepped inside.

will closed the door behind him and followed alex up the stairs to his bedroom.

out of all of his new friends, will liked alex the best. he was nice and understands him better than michelle or steven ever will. will had barely even had more than 6 conversations with steven and michelle was annoying and pushy.

will liked alex, maybe as much as he liked the party.
