Blaise sat grinning like a drunken fool, staring at his new wife.

"Blaise, love, you're scaring me," Pansy laughed, kissing his cheek. Her long, black hair was neatly curled, courtesy of Hermione, and decorated with jewels and snowflakes tucked into the neat curls.

"I love you," he replied, not paying attention. Pansy laughed, reaching over to fix his tie.

"I love you, but be quiet," Pansy smiled, the cold biting her nose playfully. "Draco and Daphne are about to give their speeches."

"To hell with Draco! I wanna be with you alone now."

Pansy chuckled lowly, raising her glass to clink it. People turned to look at the radiant bride. She looked amazing in her white dress, the lace of it wrapping around her in a seductive yet charming manner.

She stood, letting the tight dress showcase her waist to the crowd sitting around her. "Thank you all for coming. Blaise and I appreciate it greatly. I won't keep you waiting for the speeches, and I won't keep you waiting on leaving to celebrate your own lives and what is to come, but I do want all of you to know that we are so happy you could be here for the happiest day of our lives."

The guests applauded briefly, allowing Pansy to sit and her best friend to stand.

"Well," Daphne laughed, looking down at her pale green dress and back up. "That's going to be hard to beat."

The people gathered in the hall laughed, turning to the maid of honor.

"I'll keep this simple. If you don't know me, I'm Daphne Greengrass. Proud maid of honor and best friend of Pansy Zabini. I met this darling woman when we were in our third year of Hogwarts. She had a brilliant, borderline bowl haircut." She gained some laughs from everyone, Blaise's and the best man's being the loudest. "We immediately became friends, and that was all she wrote. We suffered through hundreds of laugh attacks, potion accidents, broken hearts, and some drunken accidents to blame on her cat. I knew from the moment I saw her and Blaise together, that despite how happy we were as almost sisters, Blaise could always make her happier. He was the one. And I hated to admit that I was one day going to give this very speech."

Daphne turned to Blaise, tossing some dirty blonde hair over her shoulder as she did.

"Blaise Zabini, you are one of my best friends. And you make my sister so happy. I am proud that you are now going to take over the duty of looking after her. I will warn you, she is not a morning person." Blaise smiled, tears brimming his eyes. "Ever since I met you, I knew you were the one for Pansy. I am so glad that I was able to witness the marriage between what I believe to be the definition of soulmates." Daphne turned to the crowd. "If you will raise your glasses with me. To the Bride and Groom!"

"To the Bride and Groom!" they echoed, drinking the served chardonnay.

Daphne sat down, immediately getting smothered by Pansy jumping over to hug her.

Soon, a new glass clinked, and everyone turned to look at the best man standing up, a small smirk on his face.

"Well, Greengrass, you think what you were up against was hard to beat?" Draco joked lightly. He turned to the tables around him, smiling politely. "Hello, I'm the best man. Draco Malfoy. I just want to point out a few things here."

The guests sat confused, looking the the couple, then to Draco.

"The universe itself is a complicated thing. How will we know who we meet? Who we become friends with. Who we fall in love with." Draco paused, smiling at the girl seated next to him. "I think that during the course of our life, there's a winding road we must follow. Every twist and turn and little pebble we trip over is important to our lives. The road changes us for the better. Makes us brighter, happier in the end. Maybe you trip more than others, but who knows? You may end up with an amazing view. You have to reach the end to see the beauty of the final destination. Though my best friend is not yet at his final destination, I believe that he took the right turn to end up here today."

Pansy smiled brightly at her best friend, who looked right back at her with adoration.

"Pansy, I want you to know that Blaise will love you until the end of time," Draco told her, grinning from ear to ear. "Because he gives everything his all. I am so grateful that he was bright enough, for once, to realize how in love with you he his. I believe this curve in the road will lead to many more twists and turns that shape the coming life you two can share together. Through the ups and downs, the highs and lows, and the happy moments you will have. May your days be bright, and may the love you two share never wilt with age, but ripen."

Draco looked down at the girl he loved, smiling brightly.

"By the way, I'm basing this off of you," he whispered to her, making her blush. He turned back to the guests. "To the beautiful couple!"

Everyone cheered, lifting their glasses to drink.

Draco sat down, looking to the brunette on his left.

"Did you mean that?" she asked, smiling. She looked amazing to him in her pale rose attire. Even though she wasn't a bridesmaid, she loved Pansy dearly and wanted to look good for her friend's special day.

"Of course I did, darling," Draco replied, leaning over to kiss her forehead.

"Hermione!" Pansy whispered loudly. Hermione leaned back, looking at the bride through Draco and Blaise's coats.

"Yes?" she asked, craning her neck to see her.

"Tell Draco he did amazing! I don't want to say it to his face. His ego would explode!"

"I can hear you, Pansy," Draco sighed, turning around to look at her. Pansy shrugged, leaning forward to eat her food.

Hermione laughed softly, leaning forward with Draco. "Well, you did do amazing."

"Of course I did." Draco smirked, leaning farther toward his sweetheart.

Hermione sighed impatiently, leaning in to crash her lips against his.
