im sorry but balls and dramione just mix so perfectly. so, i present, a winter ball at the malfoy manor, 6th year, where hermione is a spy. here's hermione's dress and hair, just imagine natural makeup with fluffy brows and freckles. and maybe puffier sleeves. and for draco, just his classic black suit with a white shirt and a black tie. i recommend listening to 32:32 of the video when she walks down and has the first dance and i added a link in the story for when to play another song! it rlly fits and it's totally worth it. enjoy!

Just because she stayed out of the papers, her face anonymous, doesn't mean she should be the spy. For Merlin's sakes, they're trying to make the awkward bookworm into an elegant pureblood who speaks so eloquently and charmingly, any man falls at her feet.

She was anything but. She stumbled when she walked, her words often came out too fast, and her head was always low. Her accent was different, her hair was too bushy. Out of all of these amazing pureblood girls for the job. Why her?

"Because, Miss- Hermione," Remus had reminded her, "you are the brightest witch of your age. We need a dueler, not a silly little girl ready to swoon."

"Tomorrow night," chimed in Tonks. "We'll prep you."

"And what am I to do?" Hermione asked. The room went cold. Harry and Ron looked around, trying to figure it out. Molly turned her eyes down, Remus following. Sirius looked at Tonks, both of them exchanging glances.

"Well," Fred spoke up. Hermione immediately locked eyes with him, hanging on to his every word. "The mission is to try and figure out what Malfoy's mission is."

"He's a death eater," George added, catching her whiskey-like eyes as they turned into a cool anger.

"No, he's not," snapped Hermione. "I swear to you guys, he's not a death eater! He's just a boy! Same as Harry and Ron. Vold, I mean, You-Know-Who, would not be so dim witted as to use a fifteen year old as his spy."

"But Hermione-

"I'm firm on my statement." Her fierce look made the whole lot snap their mouths shut. Quiet fell over the room once again.
