We just got my requirements from LBC. It took three days before I was given a notice. Just like what he told me he helped me where the branch is located. Lola took care of Maya while he's away. At nasa city hall kami ngayon dahil pupuntahan daw namin si Mayor.

"Miguel, sure ka ba na pwede mo akong dalhin dito?"

"Good morning! Architect Alvares!" Oo nga pala noh? It never crossed my min again that he studied architecture and passed the board. Pero kasi mas sanay na talaga ako na gumagawa siya siya ng pots sa shop ng Lola ko. Hindi ko rin gets kung bakit niya 'yun pinaggagawa well in fact he's capable of more.

"Good morning po Engr. Bert." They talked for a bit before we continued walking. Some people were greeting him the way he do.

"Pwede kitang dalhin. Ako nga ang bahala sa'yo."

"Dito pala! May couch, o!" I sat there. "Dito na 'ko." I said leaning on it comfortably. "See? Go na! Wait kita dito." I smiled innocently weighing his expression.

He was looking at me like he was riddling my actions. He scratched his brow and I figure out the patience he's gaining because of me. Feeling ko naiirita na siya pero hindi 'yun malalaman ng ibang tao kasi ako lang ang naka discover nun sa kanya!

He glided his tongue on his lower lip. Iniisip na siguro nito ang pasaway ko. "Ang hot mo diyan." I giggled. I sighed surrendering. "Hmp! Tara na nga. Sama na ako." I held his hand and we continued to walk.

I asked him if why did he come from the opposite direction. He said he actually went to our house because he wanted to pick me up. Nagtaka si Lola kung bakit dinahilan ko na pupunta ako kay Miguel wala naman pala siya. I lied and said I didn't know he wasn't home at naligo nalang ako sa ilog. Miguel told me that the Mayor had a discussion with him regarding his work. He'd personally work for the Mayor's rest house aside from the extension of the city hall. Basta nabanggit saakin ni Miguel na may firm 'yung kaibigan niyang engineer. Marami siyang sinabi and he only meant that he'd be working at home there's no need to go here in the city hall. Pero tawag raw siya ni Mayor kasi kaya magpapakita siya ngayon.

Naglalakad kami papunta sa third floor. There were people in there and our presence...Miguel's presence rather had caught them. Para talaga akong bata na kasama lang niya. Sikat ba siya rito?

"Nagsimula na po 'yung session?" he asked a man na naka-barong.

"Adjourned architect." I pursed my lips to suppressed a smile when I just felt so proud na...Damn...This guy...Oh, gosh... Too unreadable and unexpected. He's silent with greatness. Tapos thinking that he prioritizes me...Sakalin niyo na ako!

"Si Mayor po nasa opisina?" He asked respectively.

"Kanina pa ser. Tara, hatid ko na kayo."

"Salamat po." He tapped the man's back who looks older than him.

We went inside the Mayor's office. Grabe! Winter sa office ni Mayor! It was so cold, was the air conditioned in full blast? I had goose bumps! I'm wearing another sleeved knee level sun dress. Hindi naman kami nag motor papunta kaya ayos lang. We commuted going here, someone borrowed his motorcycle yesterday.

"Good morning po." Miguel greeted. We arrived in the midst of their laughter. Naka alis ang barong ng ibang matandang lalaki. May mga babae rin na naka formal attire. I guess they were councilors.

"Sige na! Mauna na kayo sa bahay usap lang kami ni architect." The Mayor has a deep voice. Parang naka pitch down to the lowest level 'yung boses. He's a big man. His belly was too big.

They were talking using their dialect kaya hindi ko rin maintindihan. The same with the greetings outside, the officials seem to know him kaya they were greeting as they walked to the door. Umupo lang ako doon sa couch. I put my mini backpack in my lap so I can hug it. Si Miguel lang ang umupo sa upuan na nasa harap ng Mayor.
