"What is wrong with this? Oh, gosh." I sighed staring at my pad paper scratched out of solutions.

"Precious, halika na. Kakain na. Mamaya mo na tapusin 'yan. Paano ka makakapag-isip kung hindi ka maghahapunan. Tara na kumain na tayo." Tawag ulit sa akin ni Lola.

"Opo, opo. Wait lang po." It was the second week of being a freshman and I felt like I hadn't get a good sleep since the class started! I needed to practice solving for MMW kasi hindi written ang quiz kay Sir Benito, it's oral recitation para sa quiz! Well actually sa klase niya minsan frustrated ako kapag lumalabas kaya hindi ako makausap ni Miguel last week ng maayos after not being able to answered correctly with the problem. If you don't recite, there's no grade for you. As simple as that. He doesn't force everybody to recite but that would be awful if you won't try to recite for this whole sem.

"Kanina ka pa opo ng opo hindi ka naman tumatayo pa diyan!" I blew a heavy breathe and stood up papunta sa kusina. Books ang papers were messed on the center table ng living room. I've been very busy to enwrapped my mind with solving the possible problem he would ask and advance solving na rin for the next topic. It's distressing to think na hindi ako makakasagot ng kahit isang problem for every important quizzes.

"Kain ng kain, Apo."

"Lola, gamot niyo po after dinner. Okay?"

"Alalahanin mo iyang kalusugan mo at iyang pag-aaral mo. Ako na ang bahala sa pag-inom ng gamot ko." She said calmly habang hindi pa siya kumakain. "Susunduin ka ba ni Miguel bukas?"

"Yes, po. We're going to be early. Ihahatid niya raw po sila Maya school bago ako." Miguel and I are becoming immersed with what we're doing. Ako madalang na akong pumupunta sa bahay niya and siya naman may often visitation sa site para sa extension ng city hall. During the first week he was busy but he was able to make time for me. Sa gabi siya nag dedesign tapos kapag may klase ako may kailangan daw siyang kausapin and then he would exactly arrived at school to have a lunch with me. There was a time na pinapatawag siya it was an urgent call. He wanted to have a lunch with me kasi wala raw akong kasama pero I was able to convinced him to go dahil kaya ko naman mag-isa. And that day I met new friends. I had lunch with them kaya nakakausap ko na rin sila madalas.

"Sigurado ka ba na kaya mo na ang mag commute, Precious?"

"Lola, oo naman!" I chuckled. I commuted yesterday. Hindi naman ako lumagpas or napunta sa bus terminal. I admit I got scared! Tinawagan ko si Miguel na uuwi na ako he wanted to pick me up para ihatid saglit sa bahay kahit alam kong he was at work and he needed to be there. Tinawagan ko naman siya nung naka-uwi na ako. Nag stay lang ako until five sa lib kasi kailangan ko ng wifi. So medyo nagtaka rin siya kung bakit medyo hapon na ako nakarating sa bahay contradicted sa schedule ko.

"Precious, aral ng aral. Huwag magpapabaya." She smiled at me while she brushes my hair.

"Miguel, nak. Ingat sa pagmamaneho. Salamat!"

"Mauna na po kami." He said to Lola. Nagmamadali akong humalik kay Lola. "La, med at eight po." I was pointing my watch at her habang pinapaalalahanan ko siya.

"Aba, sige na. Alam ko na 'yan! Hinihintay ka na ni Miguel sige na punta na."

"Bye po. I love you." I finally said before leaving.

Kinuha agad ni Miguel 'yung hawak ko na books. We're going to walk to their house dahil nandoon ang sasakyan at naghihintay na sila Maya. Kasama sila Tita Sally.

"Miguel, nag breakfast ka?" he was watching me while I quickly sprayed my perfume to my neck. I sprayed on his neck too nang naabitan ko siyang tinitignan ako. Nice! We smelled the same. We both smelled sweet melon.
