"Who are you?" I asked, still left in the shock and scared state that came over me when gunshots were heard.
I look up to his face which was hidden behind a dark shadow and bit my lips as silence fell between us.
"Who I am is none of your business,"...
I froze, my entire body suddenly began to heat up at how dangerously close we were. His arms were on both sides of me, trapping me in between and oh God was our face super close to each other. So close that if anyone if we moved, we would lock lips.
I felt embarrassed once more for blushing as my cheeks became very red from us being this close to each other and I hated we were because I don't know why I have their bubbly feeling inside of me. Being this close to him does things to my heart and I hated it!
I tried to paste myself into the wall in an attempt to make some space between us but it wasn't working so I had finally gathered up my courage to ask him what he was doing.
Taking a silent deep breath, I finally looked up to his face, his grey eyes already staring down into mine, causing my heart to drum really heart against my chest. I was getting carried away!!
"Get yourself together Ariana!" I yelled to myself before averting my eyes from his and proceed to ask my question. "What do you think-"
"Shhh," he cuts me off with a whisper, suddenly bringing two of his fingers to my lips which caused me to look back at him. I gasped, shuddering when his fingers had came into contact with my lips and felt my face heat up once more because he saw my reaction!!
I quickly averted my eyes from him once again in embarrassment but felt hot that his fingers were still at my lips and I could feel his gaze on the side of my face.
Everything felt so different and new...like...like...I can't explain it but there were these foreign feelings inside of me that were slowly coming out and I don't know what to do. I'm confused.
There was silence in the room for a second with me only looking away from him while he continued to stare at me with his two fingers pressed to my lips but the silence was quickly broken when the sound of our door being kicked open and an unfamiliar voice spoke.
"Find them!" A familiar voice snarled and footsteps could be heard entering the room.
My eyes widened when I realized that they were Lorenzo's men and I snapped my head back to Jaxon who snapped out of his daze, that I didn't know he was in, and pulled away for me.
He swore quietly under his breath and went over to the table and grabbed his keys and the gun that was under the couch. Walking over to me, he gently grabbed my hands and took me into the bathroom before sealing the door shut.
