Chapter 15🎥

You're Cuter

The whole group sat in silence, Y/N's phone sitting on the table. They were waiting to be called by one of the producers, Andy or someone else who would have something to say about the video they posted. How could they be so stupid? Why didn't they think? 

Maybe it wouldn't be too bad, everyone was going to find out at some point. Y/N was just concerned about messing up the producers plans, or Jim Kanami writing an article about how foolish they had been- about how Y/N and Andy had lied to him when he asked about Noah. The Hollywood liars, he'd call them. Y/N had a bad feeling about it, and so did everyone else in the room. What a great sleepover this was. 

Not being able to take it anymore, Noah got up and walked away over to the kitchen space. Y/N watched him walk away and decided to go over there with him, leaving the others on the couch. She smiled softly at him as he went through the fridge, looking for something to eat.

"Hey, you alright?" Y/N asked, playing with her hands. Noah glanced at her before looking back at the fridge. He was stressed out, Y/N thought. First her saying Will was cuter than him, although that probably seemed really insignificant now, and now this. Noah shrugged and nodded a little, pulling out a packet of poptarts.

"Worst sleepover ever." Noah sighed as he opened the packet, putting the tarts into the toaster. 

"I mean, it was good up until the tiktok..." Y/N shrugged at him, trying to make the evening seem better than it was. Noah just shook his head in disagreement with her.

"No, it was good up until truth or dare." Noah responded, looking at Y/N with a look of hurt before looking back at the toaster, watching the tarts slowly heat up. Y/N sighed  little and looked at him, squinting a little.

"You're mad about me saying Will was cuter?" Y/N asked, looking closely at his face to see any sign of agreement. There was, reluctant but it was there. Y/N chuckled softly. "Hey don't get upset about it, it was just a game. And besides, I didn't mean it. If it'll cheer you up, you're the cutest person here." Y/N smiled at him and nudged his arm playfully.

Noah looked up from his poptarts and gave her a slight smile, cheering up a little, "Alright, I'm good now. Still stressed about that tiktok but I'm good." He laughed quietly, "Do you think Andy will be mad about it?" he asked, moving a little closer over towards her- still leaning against the counter.

Y/N shrugged a bit, "Maybe, people were going to find out sooner or later. I guess founding out from a tiktok is a kind of quirky way to announce your role in the movie though." Y/N smiled a little at him.

Noah chuckled softly, nodding, "Yeah I'm not too sure that it's been done before. Kind of an original way though, we're probably a first, right?" he laughed a bit and smiled at her. Y/N nodded in response and opened her mouth to respond but heard her phone buzz from across the room. She looked at Noah before looking back at the others who were sitting by her phone. She made her way over to her phone and looked down at the message she'd received.

andy💙: I'm on call with the producers right now, not sure if they're happy or not. You guys should have thought before you posted but I'm sure you already feel bad so I won't tell you off for it. I'll keep in contact and let you know what's happening.

Y/N read the message and felt slightly relieved, even though the producers were probably mad- she was glad that Andy wasn't. This project wouldn't be happening with him and he helped her bring her favourite book to screen so letting him down would hurt a lot. Besides that, she was also happy that she had avoided a telling off. She read the message aloud to the group and they nodded in response. The whole group had muted all social media because their phones had began to blow up the minute the video was posted. Especially Noah's.

They decided to just carry on with the sleepover since there was nothing they could do to help with situation until Andy had let them know what was going on so they put The Breakfast Club back on and sat around the TV together to watch it. Noah sat down next to Y/N to watch it and she smiled at him. Will decided to sit on the other side of her and she felt somewhat happy that he had two nice guys sitting by her, but with Will there meant that she couldn't rest her head against Noah's shoulder. 

So they all watched the movie together and awaited another message from Andy to update them. Half-way into the movie- Y/N's phone buzzed again.
