Chapter 27🎥

First Suspect Eliminated 

Y/N and Noah sat together around the laptop, getting ready to watch the interviews from b-roll. 

"You know, if you think about it, we're kind of seeing exclusive content." Noah said, smiling like an excited fan. Y/N laughed and shook her head.

"If that's what you want to think then go for it, Noah." Y/N said as she put the USB into the computer, waiting for the raw footage to pop-up on the screen.

A few moments later, Jaeden's face popped up on the screen and Y/N sat closer to hear it better.

"So obviously, you're exited to be working on such a big project, right?"

"Of course, I read the screenplay and I knew it was immediately something I wanted to be apart of. Y/N L/N has brought out really good adaptations in the past and I knew that-"

Y/N smiled a little and skipped ahead a minute, so she could hear the questions she actually cared about.

"There are a lot of famous faces in this cast and crew, who's been your favourite to work with?"

"I mean, it was great to work with Andy again. But I think my favourite person to hang around with on set was Will, just because he's a really nice guy and we uh- we have the same interests."

"Anyone you haven't really been getting on with?"

"We've all meshed really well and there isn't anyone I don't like. But Charli and Noah do my head in with the 50 tiktoks they make everyday" Jaeden laughed, "Like I turn around and they're doing some sort of dance, every time."

Y/N laughed at the look of offence on Noah's face before taking the USB out of the computer.

"He's just jealous he hasn't got the moves I have. He did it, he definitely did it." Noah shook his head and folded his arms, pouting. Y/N laughed at him as she decided who's interview to play next.

"Oh shush, he was joking." Y/N nudged him playfully before putting in a new USB into the computer. She waited a few moments before Charli's face popped up onto the screen, once again- Y/N skipped a little just to hear the other parts of the interview.

"If you had to pick a favourite cast member, who'd you pick?"

"Definitely Noah, I love making tiktoks with him. Like he's the best, seriously."

"Anyone that you don't like as much?"

"Uhm, I think we're all friends. I don't really talk to Y/N that much, she's always busy doing some sort of directing thing, like she's always doing that sort of stuff."  

Y/N unplugged the USB, looking for a new one. "Hey, someone appreciates my tiktoks!" Noah smiled and clapped his hands. Y/N rolled her eyes and chuckled.

"Yeah, a lot of people do." She told him as she plugged in the next USB. Noah and Y/N moved closer together as Will's face popped up on the screen, they chuckled a little at Will squinting at the bright light.

"So what made you want to join this project?"

"I mean, I don't really get a lot of roles so I tend to go for as many as I can. But something about this project just sucked me in, right away. The minute I found out that Y/N was going to be working on it, I told my manager and I was like "Look, I really need to get this role, help me get this role." Y/N is probably the influential teenager in Hollywood, and despite that power she has, she's still super sweet and down to earth- like I just really wanted to work with her."

Noah scoffed a little, "Wow, he's copying me."

"Anyone you haven't taken to?"

"Uhm, I mean. Not really. Noah talks a lot, but that's just Noah. He talks to Y/N a lot too-" Will blushed, "But like, they both help around set so that's understandable." 

Y/N paused the video and thought for a moment, if she wasn't overreacting then it kind of sounded as though... Will liked her? Y/N looked over at Noah and she could tell he was thinking the same thing. But would that make him more or less likely to sell them out to Jim Kanami. They could only guess. 

As much as the recent video made them want to just leave the clips and go back to the hotel to eat loads of food, they still had to watch Lilia's interview too. Y/N put the USB into the computer.

"So, who's been your favourite person to hang around on set with?"

"Definitely Charli, she's literally my best friend. I'd do anything for her. We hang out together more than anyone else does and yeah- she's awesome." Lilia giggled.

"Who hasn't been getting along?"

"I think everyone is friends on some level but I think Charli and Y/N could probably talk more- that way we could be the three musketeers. And Will and Noah should hang out too, they're both kind of trying to be the alpha male- to put it in wolf terms." Lilia joked and smiled.

Y/N turned off the laptop and thought for a while, in silence before Noah and her decided to share thoughts.

"I think Jaeden seems the least likely to have sold us out, and after what happened to Wyatt- I don't think he'd be in a hurry to help out Kanami." Y/N admitted and Noah agreed with a nod.

"So he's off the suspect list?" Noah asked.

"Looks like it."

Noah smiled softly and took Y/N's hand, "Come on, let's go and eat doughnuts, I need a sugar boost."
