*Danielle's pov*

"I am not going to go in there." I said.

"Why not?" Shawn asked.

"Ms. Allan obviously knows we're sneaking around at night. She did this on purpose." I said.

"I doubt that. This might just be a mistake." Shawn assured me.

"I don't think so-"

Shawn pushed the door open all the way, making it slam on the wall behind it.

I gave him a look and he winced.

"Sorry." He shrugged.

"Let's just try not to make any more noises." I said, and he agreed.

We walked into the dark hallway. The doors were made of metal and it had a little window, it was blocked by bars instead of glass.

"Looks who it is.." A wicked voice shouted.

Voices started to fill the empty space and they were calling my name as well as Shawn's.

"Hey, boy!" A teenager said, he head was visible behind the window. She pointed at Shawn. She had cuts all over her face and she had blonde hair.

She reached her arms out and grabbed Shawn by the collar. He was pushed against the door.

She whispered something in his ear, Shawn pushed away and made a face in disgust.

"What?" I laughed.

"Nothing, come on." He rolled his eyes and grabbed my arm to make me walk faster.

"Why? What did she say?"

"Just drop it Dani." He yelled, and I stopped asking questions.

We made it near the end of the hallway.

"David?" I whisper-shouted his name.

"Danielle? What are you doing here?" David's voice was all I heard.

"Where are you?" I asked.

"Over here." I followed his voice and made my way towards the second to last door.

"Why are you here?" David asked again. I could see his face from the window.

"The door was open." I said.

"Why would Cam leave the door open?" David asked.

"Cam? He left the door open?"

"Yeah. He even said something about you." David said.

"What's he say?"

"I don't know, but he was just standing there, like a ghost. Ms. Allan just guided him everywhere. It was creepy."

"Does Cam spend the night here too?" I asked.

"Sis, I don't know everything. Plus, I thought he lived with that kid..Nash?"

"He does but why would he be here at night?"

"How should I know?" He shrugged.

"Would you keep it down? I'm tryin' to sleep here." A voice said.

"Who's that?"

"My roommate, Jack." David said.

I could see Jack, he had brown hair, thick eyebrows, and a nice smile. He was laying down on his bed with his eyes open, staring at me.

"Oh, hi. I'm Danielle." I said.

"I'm Shawn." Shawn waved.

"I don't care." Jack said as he closed his eyes.

"Okay..." I said.

"Don't mind him. That's usually his response." David said.

"So, why would Cam do this?"

"Oh, I know why. Because he's a psychopath."

Shawn and I stared at each other.

"P-psychopath?"

"Yeah. He beat a kid to the death when he was twelve. He should be here, but..."

"But what?"

"He's Ms. Allan's son."

Shawn tapped me on the shoulder.

"Shawn? What?" I asked, and he pointed to the door.

It was slowly shutting.

"No! Wait!" I yelled as I ran to the door.

The door shut in front of me.

We were trapped for the rest of the night. In the fourth floor.

*Cam's pov*

I was wide awake, I couldn't fall asleep again.

When I fall asleep, terrible things happen.

It started when I was twelve, and I had my first sleepover.

****flashback****

"Cam? Go to sleep! It's...like...12:30!" My friend, Tristan said.

"No, dude. We can stay up longer!" I cheered.

"You can. I'm going to sleep. Good night, Cam." Tristan said as he closed his eyes to sleep.

I should at least try to go to sleep, I've been having insomnia for a while.

I shut my eyes and slowly fell to sleep.

~~

"Cam? Why'd you do that bro.."

"He's dead! Dead dead dead!"

My eyes snapped back to reality. My hands were covered with blood, and I was standing on top of Tristan.

"Wh-what happened?"

"You killed him!" Brian said.

"No...no I couldn't have.." I said.

I ran over to Brian and grabbed him by the shoulders.

"How long have I been asleep?" I asked.

Brian was shaking scared. He shook his head.

"HOW LONG HAVE I BEEN ASLEEP?" I yelled and I shook him.

"Six hours!" Brian cried.

I let go of him and everyone was crying.

I killed my best friend.

If only I remembered.

****end of flashback****

I was walking around in the rehab center when I realized no one was on this floor. Absolutely no one. This floor should be filled with people from the other floor.

I walked up the stairs and went to the fourth floor.

"Hello?" I called, the door was open but nobody answered.

I shrugged, and slowly shut the door.

"No! Wait!" I heard someone yell.

It was probably one of the people screaming again. I shut the door and walked back downstairs.

I should get back to the apartment.

"I'll stay awake, 'cause the dark's not taking prisoners tonight.
Why am I not scared in the morning,
I don't hear those voices calling,
I must have kicked them out,
I must have kicked them out,
I swear I heard demons yelling,
Those crazy words they were spelling,
They told me I was gone,
They told me I was gone."
