autumn - an original poem

Leaves cascade from the branches of the trees

Floating gently, brushing against my sweater in the breeze

Blanketing the world in the warm colour of orange

My lips stained with hot chocolate, my fingers gloved

And though I dearly miss the warm days I loved

My heart yearns for Autumn,

Now it has finally arrived.

Now it has finally arrived
