In this lonely world
Full of famine and destruction
War and injustice
May I find comfort in your presence
As I lay on your lap
Your lips humming a tune
Sending shivers down my spine
Wrap your arms around me
And let's just watch the stars
And forget
The moon has its craters
It's imperfections
Like the Earth
Though it is beautiful
Providing us light
In the darkest of times
Like the Earth
The moonlight shines on your face
Illuminating your features
You're perfect
You're beautiful
And you give hope to this lonely world
Full of famine and destruction
