I like it in the dark
No one can see you
Your imperfections
Your mistakes you've made
But in the light they see it all
And they judge you
It makes you feel down
Alone
Meaningless
But you pick yourself up
And move on with your day.

In the dark you don't have to be
That perfect girl that everyone wants to see
You can be who ever you want
What ever you want

But when time comes to an end
What was that pain for
You didn't need to care for                                                                                                                                                What other thought                                                                                                                                                              That's why it's better in the dark
