sunshine - an original poem

You're like the sun

Blinding me with happiness

Making my lips hurt from smiling

I feel like I'm dancing in the skies

The tips of my toes brushing the clouds

We lay in a paddock of green

Speckled with colours of the rainbow

I've never seen through this coloured lens

I blow at a dandelion

Wishing this will last

Because you are the best thing that's ever happened to me

You are my sunshine

Dedicated to my friends

Because honestly, I'm just a single pringle

Yearning for someone to love

So this is for y'all

Cause you are my sunshines xxx
