if winter was your best friend - an original poem

7 1 3

She draped herself in white hoodies

Distancing herself from others

Life blossoming inside her brain

If only she'd show it

Beautiful things at the tip of her tongue

If only she'd spill them out of her lips

Unlike anyone else

She kept to herself

Though beautiful as ever

And her name was Winter.
