little things - an original poem

She noticed the little things,

Like how the rain pattered down outside,

And how the autumn leaves crinkled underfoot,

How he showed dimples when he laughed,

How the slightest thing he did she loved,

And how his coffee-brown eyes filled with galaxies,

And universes far away,

How the stars seemed to shine for them,

That is what made her truly beautiful.
