"And the drama continues." (Y/n) rolled her eyes, resting her head on her hand. Aja paced back and forth in the living room, annoying Vex who was trying to see the TV. "Ok, you're making me sick with you pacing. Stop that and tell me what's going on."

"The Palchuck!" the Queen-in-Waiting exclaimed. Krel was in the engine room, and the last the lieutenant had heard, he was yelling angrily at Mother. She had thought it best to leave him alone and didn't mind the excuse not to be around him.

"Your boyfriend? What's up with him?"

"I don't know!"

"Relationship status."

"Uh, what?"

"What place in your relationship are you? Still blossoming or no?"

"Blossoming."

"Then let his personal problems be. I'm sure you guys can stick it through. You did meet by punching him in the face." Aja frowned, subconsciously tucking a strand of hair behind her ear. "Yeah. You're totally his style and you can keep him in check. Ask him if he's okay, and if he decides to tell you, just listen. Just listen. That's important."

"Okay," Aja said, taking several deep breaths. "I don't know about this relationship thing, though." And with that, she started pacing again. (Y/n) face palmed.

"Also, lieutenant," Vex said, twisting around in his seat. His back popped and (Y/n) cringed.

"What, old man?" she sneered.

"Zadra is coming to Earth."

"What."

"Varvatos is positive you heard him," he said, seemingly pleased with her reaction as he turned back around in his chair. "My liege, please, stop pacing. Varvatos would like to see the TV."

"Varvatos is an idiot," the lieutenant hissed. Zadra coming to Earth? Great. Another person in the way of her mission. And her own mother, who would smother her. Then a question popped up in her head. "Vex, why is she coming to Earth?" This gave the royals' first guardian a pause. "I knew it," she whispered under her breath.

(Y/n) knew about Vex's double crossing. But from the way things looked now, it seemed more like a triple cross. Everyone in Morando's army knew about his beloved assassin, though he was the only one who knew her identity. So (Y/n) had insights into almost everything Morando had planned, including Varvatos Vex bringing the shields down for the invasion.

Zadra had most likely figured out about Vex's traitorous actions since no one knew where (Y/n) was except for a select few in Morando's army.

"She has discovered your location," Vex said without turning around. "She is coming to check up on you after you disappeared."

"Is that really it?" she said.

"Of course. Why else would she be on Earth?" (Y/n) stopped herself. If she said anything, it would give Vex the clues that he needed to resolve that she was the assassin.

"You're right," she said. "But how would she know?"

"You're her daughter," Aja said, finally stopping her pacing. "Why wouldn't she know? She's been looking tirelessly for you."

"Sh-she has?" The Queen-in-Waiting nodded.

"Why wouldn't she?" she asked, stepping towards the lieutenant.

"I...I just thought that she was more devoted to her duties...."

"What? Why would she be more devoted to her duties than her daughter?" Aja reached (Y/n) and put her hand on her shoulder. "Did something happen?"
