A Dangerous Game (Krel x Reader)

(Y/n) was grateful that the Trollhunters seemed to be preoccupied elsewhere in the city, fighting some other troll that was leading the rest of them. It was fun, however, to be either beating trolls with sticks or serrators, taking out a bit of her anger on them. 

What wasn't fun was watching Steve and Aja kissing in the middle of a battle field with goblin guts spraying everywhere. Eli, who'd they'd met up with halfway through the town, Krel, and the lieutenant all grimaced, and (Y/n) eventually just went back to splattering the goblins on the street. 

"This place is going to need some serious cleanup," she said as she grabbed the leg of one of the goblins and threw it into the wall, watching it go 'splat'. Krel batted several away from himself with a baseball bat, turning to Eli as he shrieked, several goblins clinging to his helmet. 

"We have to go," Krel said, a hint of annoyance in his tone as Aja and Steve finally stopped kissing. "Think you two can handle things here for a while?" Eli and Steve nodded once the goblins had been disposed of. "Alright, then! Let's go!" 

(Y/n) raced after the two royals, unsheathing her serrator once she was out of sight of Steve and Eli. "It's very likely that any one of Morando's lackeys has infiltrated Mother," she said. 

"Well then, it's good that you and Zadra are here," Krel said without looking back. 

"And...Vex?" 

"We don't need him." The King-in-Waiting flashed her a glare. "That's all that needs to be said." She shrugged as they came into view of the Tarrons' house, the yard looking as pristine as ever but for the strange color of the sky. 

"Be on your guard," Zadra said, unsheathing her own serrator. 

"Mother, watch out!" (Y/n) shouted, spotting the boomerang-thing spinning through the air a split second before it clipped Zadra in the side. The warrior grunted, falling to her knees. The lieutenant sprang forward, knocking the second one to the ground as it would have hit her mother in the face, bending down to support her. 

"Alpha!" Aja said, turning towards the Zeron Brother as he moved towards her. Krel tried to take a shot but Alpha simply deflected it, sending his single ring towards him and trapping the King-in-Waiting's arm to his side. 

"Come on," (Y/n) said, tugging on Zadra's arm. "Get up!" The warrior did so, wobbling before her daughter stabilized her. "We need to get inside the mothership!" 

However, before anyone could do that, Luug ran to the door, barking. "Mother!" Krel shouted as the door slammed shut, trapping Aja's pet inside. Alpha laughed and (Y/n) retrieved her serrator, stepping away from Zadra. She used the tip of her blade to retrieve the fallen ring and toss it into her free hand. 

"Aja, help me out," she said. "Krel, Zadra, get into the mothership and keep it from taking off." Zadra nodded and ran over to Krel, cutting off the ring and racing towards the mothership. 

Instead of taking on Aja and the lieutenant, Alpha darted away towards Zadra and Krel, springing onto the warrior and throwing her into the King-in-Waiting. Zadra rolled out of the way as he tried to blast her, kicking him backwards. (Y/n) threw the ring in her hand, clipping him on the side of the head. The ground shook around them as the mothership began to lift out of the ground. 

"No! Mother!" Krel shouted, pushing himself up and attempting to get to the door. Alpha lunged forward and grabbed his foot, swinging him around and throwing him into Aja. (Y/n) dove to the side, rolling back to her feet and switching her serrator to the blaster and firing several shots. Alpha stumbled back and she switched to the shield, running forward and batting him aside.
