The Primordial Goddess

Chapter 2

The Deal

Mula dito sa pwesto ko ay pinagmamasdan ko ang mga tao. Gabi na uli kaya naman nandito nanaman ako at ginagawang maliwanag ang gabi ng mga tao.

Habang pinagmamasdan sila ay naisip ko nanaman na ano kayang pakiramdam na maging tao? I really want to experience it.

"Erebus, hindi ka ba napapaisip kung anong pakiramdam na maging tao, yung wala kang kapangyarihan?" Tanong ko kay Erebus na nasa gilid ko at kasama kong pinagmamasdan ang mga tao sa ibaba.

"Nope. I'm satisfied with my life as a God Love." sagot nito sa akin. Napairap ako dahil sa kanyang tugon.

"I'm also satisfied Love. I'm just curious and I want to experience it." He smiled at me.

"I know what you're thinking. You want to be a human, am I right?" I looked at him, huh he knows me so well.

"Right." sagot ko atsaka ibinalik ang tingin sa ibaba.

"You'll do it Love? When? I'm coming with you." he's really supportive when it comes to me and that's one of the reason why I love him.

"You don't need to come Ereb. My plan is that I will not be a human for the whole day. Tuwing umaga lamang at babalik din ako sa gabi. You don't need to come because I will not leave you and I know na di mo naman gustong maging tao. You love being you. Duh." he laughed at my statement. What? I'm telling the truth!

"Okay okay, I'll just watch you from here. Lagi rin namang nasa gitna si Thanatos so I don't have to worry. The question is, pano mo kakausapin si Zeus para sa gusto mo na yan?" napaisip din ako. Binalik ko muli ang tingin sa mga tao sa gitna at napaisip. Bihirang mapadpad si Zeus dito dahil kung hindi siya naggagala, at nambababae ay nasa Mt. Olympus lamang siya.

Tsk, from observing those mortals, I looked away and saw Zeus. Why is he here? Nakakapagtakang andito siya and who's his target now? But I don't really care about that, he came in a perfect time, para bang naisip niya na gusto kong makipag usap sa kanya kaya siya napadpad dito. I approached him slowly and when I'm already infront of him, I told something like it was very normal for a Goddess to say.

"Make me a mortal." with that, he looked at me as though hearing the silliest joke in all his years.

Do I looked like I'm kidding? I don't even know how to joke, unlike him "I'm not kidding." his eyebrows arched.

"Do you by any chance know what will happen when you transformed into a human? What about your job as a Goddess?" tsk. This God.

"Obviously I know it imbecile. I'm older than you, I know all things. Also, I just want to be a human at daytime, I will return at evening and do my job. I'm not reckless like you." He grinned.

It's true, I'm older than him, in fact isa ako sa pinaka naunang Goddess na nabuhay dito but I think hindi lahat ay alam iyon, I am created near the beginning of time so I'm older and stronger than Zeus and believe it or not he's scared of me.

"And what will I get when I granted what you want?" I grimaced, this God really.

"Hmm you're already getting what you want, how about you punish me when I fail to return at night? I know that you badly want to punish me in behalf of my son because of what he did to you in the past. I'm allowing you to do what you want to me when that happens."

Zeus’ wife, Hera, asked my son Hypnos to put Zeus to sleep. She was trying to plot something against him while he is sleeping but the plan is a failure because my son was not strong enough to put Zeus to sleep for a long time. When he figured it out, he hunted down my son.

When I knew about that, I let my son stay with me until Zeus went to me and get my son, When I told him that I will not give him Hypnos ay umalis agad siya. Zeus was too afraid to get me angry, so he retreated back to Mt. Olympus.

"Deal." I grinned when he agreed. Easy, alam kong hindi niya pa rin nakakalimutan ang pangyayaring iyon. Luckily he's stronger than Hypnos kaya palpak ang plano. I don't know what he did to Hera though.

Anyway past is past. Wait for me mortals. I'll be one of you soon.

Umalis agad si Zeus pagkatapos ng napag usapan namin. Napatingin ako kay Erebus, nakakunot at noo niya ngayon habang nakatingin sa akin.

"Love why did you say that? Dapat ay sinabi mo na lamang na hinding hindi mo siya papakeelaman, why did you say na he can punish you?" I can feel that he's controlling his anger. I held his face and gave him a kiss.

"Relax Ereb, you know that it's not fair kung ayon ang sasabihin ko. Don't worry I will not fail okay? And nakadepende naman sa akin kung hanggang kailan ito, when I got tired of this set up then I will stop okay? I got this." He sighed. He know that he can't do anything. My decision is final.

"Fine." I smiled. I will not fail.
