Sorry

Pagkalabas ko ng kwarto ay bumaba na ako, nilibot ko ang paningin. I sighed when I didn't see Erebus. I guess he went home.

Umupo ako sa sofa at saka sumandal dito at pumikit. I messed up, big time.

I broke the deal and I'm the reason why the night feels like something is missing, no scratch that someone is missing and that's me.

What will I do now? Honestly I don't know. Nung una ay sobrang desidido ako na ipaalam kay Erebus pag nalaman ko na ang lahat and now that I already knew it? I don't know anymore.

I sighed, but I don't want to see him hurting anymore because of me. I'm the reason why he's here, he's helping me because he don't want to lose me for a long time kaya hindi pa nagtatagal ang punishment ay bumaba na agad ito kahit na isa ito sa ayaw niyang gawin nung una dahil kuntento na siya sa itaas.

Should I tell him? Or keep this to myself? Pero hindi ito matatapos hangga't hindi nito nalalaman ang lahat, also I can't go back up there by myself dahil ganap akong mortal ngayon, I don't have any powers right now because I know that Zeus sealed it and of course no one knew that I already remembered everything.

Napatigil ako sa pag-iisip nang may biglang pumasok. Nilingon ko ito at nakitang si Erebus ito, he looked shocked when he saw me. I looked at his hands that is now full. He did the groceries? Obviously Nyx.

"Oh you're awake. How are you?" Tanong nito. Umiwas ako ng tingin bago sumagot.

"F-fine." Nang binalik ko ang tingin ko rito ay tumango ito atsaka dumiretso na sa kusina, para siguro ilapag ang mga binili sa counter.

Maya maya pa ay naramdaman ko ang pag upo nito sa tabi ko, I even heard him sigh.

At dahil hindi ko alam ang sasabihin ay binuksan ko na lang ang phone ko, bumungad sa akin ang wallpaper ko na picture naming dalawa and I don't know why but I ended up staring at it. I miss him, I just don't know how to act infront of him right now.

"That's us." He said, halata ang gulat sa tono nito. Should I tell him? I heaved a sigh. I looked at his eyes and I can feel my eyes being teary again. Gosh as far as I can remember, I'm not a cry baby.

"I'm sorry." That's the first thing that I want to say.

"I'm sorry for being selfish Erebus. I-I'm so sorry." I started breathing heavily and my tears started falling like a river, I looked away.

He cupped my face and made me look at him and when he succeeded, I saw his eyes brimming with tears, pero pinipigilan niya itong tumulo. Pinunasan niya ang luha ko pero wala pa rin itong tigil sa pagtulo. I just can't accept the fact that he's hurting because of me, I hurt him, my husband.

"You remembered." I nodded. He hugged me tight na para bang ayaw na ako nitong pakawalan.

"Don't say sorry, it's not your fault." Why is he so nice?

"But because of me you're hurting, I broke the deal and I forget about you, I know that it hurts a lot Ereb. I'm so sorry, because of my selfishness, I brought this mess." Umiling ito sa akin atsaka ngumiti na para bang okay lang ang lahat.

"I'm hurting because I didn't do anything to protect you, wala akong nagawa para hindi masira yung deal, hindi kita natulungan. But it's all over now, you're here, you remembered me and that's all that matters to me."

"I'm sorry."

"Shh don't say sorry, remember what I always say? I'll always support you in all your decisions and you wanting to experience being a mortal? It's completely fine Nyx, wala kang kasalanan okay? At pinuntahan kita rito dahil alam kong presensya ko lang ang kailangan mo para maalala ako. You love me that much, your heart can't forget me." Hinampas ko ito dahil nagawa pa nitong magbiro. I'm being serious here.

Pero totoo naman, the first time I saw him here, my heart beats so fast like I already knew him and like he have a big role in my life and I'm not wrong.

"Stop crying, you look like a mess." Inirapan pa ako nito kaya hindi ko napigilan na pingutin ito. Nasira yung drama dahil sa kanya!

Kinuha nito ang tissue na nakalagay sa mini table at inabot sa akin, nang hindi ko agad nakuha ay hinarap na ako nito sa kanya at siya na ang nagpunas ng luha ko.

"I didn't know that you're capable of crying."

"Coming from the one who almost cried when he realized that I remembered him." He make face, he's really good at teasing huh.

"Atleast I didn't bawled my eyes out because of crying."

"Shut up."

"I'm just kidding. Come here." Hinila ako nito atsaka ikinulong sa mga braso niya, his head rested on my shoulder.

"Kailan ka nagsimulang makaalala?" He asked.

"The day you teased me and murmuring that you missed teasing your wife." Inalis nito ang ulo sa balikat ko at hindi makapaniwalang tumingin sa akin.

"You freaking heard that?"

"Of course, it sounds like you really want me to hear it."

"But why didn't you tell me?"

"My plan is to tell you when I remembered everything. This picture is a big help, I guess Zeus made a loop holes." I shrugged and showed him my wallpaper.

I also opened my gallery and showed him our pictures. He looked at me intently.

"You didn't change your wallpaper. How come you didn't notice it sooner?"

"I often don't open my phone and whenever I do, hindi ko iyon napapansin." I shrugged, totoo naman eh. This phone is not that useful for me.

Tumahimik kami sandali nang may bigla akong naalala.

"Ereb, the letter and my bruise, may kinalaman ka ba doon? Well I'm sure that the letter came from you and that you're user @ErebAuclair that commented on that article." He chuckled because of what I said.

"Well yes you're right and about your bruise, Zeus did that. I asked him." M brows furrowed.

"He didn't asked anything for exchange?"

"Nah. Wala, he's being kind daw so hindi na ako tumanggi." Tinanguan ko ito. Mabuti naman at tinamaan ng kabaitan yun.

"Does Selene and Astraea know this already? I also figured out that the two of them are the ladies in my dream."

"They didn't know it yet. Should I tell them?" I shake my head.

"No. Don't let anyone know."

"Why?"

"Uhm surprise?" Alanganin kong sabi. Natawa naman ito kaya napakamot ako sa aking batok.

"You know that they will know this soon." I shrugged.

"Then hayaan mo silang malaman nila ng kusa." He nodded.

"So what's your plan?" He asked.

"I'm going back."

"Are you sure?"

"Yes. Tatapusin ko lang ang mga dapat tapusin dito and then I'll go back." Tumango ito at saka ngumiti. He hugged me and I hugged him back.

"I'm sorry Ereb." He patted my back.

"Don't be. You didn't do anything wrong. You won't be Nyx if you just let go of that curiosity of yours." I smiled.

"I missed this."

"I missed you too Nyx."
