Goddess of the Night

"Table for two please." Masayang sabi ni Alice sa waitress na lumapit sa amin. Iginaya naman kami nito papunta sa aming pwesto.

Binigay nito ang menu sa amin pero imbes na basahin ang ibinigay sa akin ay ibinaba ko ito at bumaling kay Alice.

"Order for me Alice, I don't know what's delicious here." Sabi ko rito at masaya naman itong tumango.

"Sure, this is my favorite restaurant here anyway."

Sumandal ako sa upuan ko at tiningnan ang oras. 4:45 pa lang. Hindi ko kailangan magmadali sa pagkain.

Pagkatapos umorder ni Alice ay nakangiti itong bumaling sa akin. Her smile never left her face. I can almost see the vibrant energy smoke coming from her.

"Nyx." She called out. Tinaasan ko ito ng kilay.

"Nyx." What?

"Nyx." Ugh.

"What?" Pagtatanong ko. Naririndi ako sa paulit ulit niyang pagtawag sa aking pangalan.

I looked around the place nang hindi ito kaagad nagsalita. So many mortals are eating here.

"Kapangalan mo si Nyx yung Goddess of the night." Pakiramdam ko ay biglang luminaw ang pandinig ko dahil sa sinabi niya.

Kapangalan huh? I'm Nyx the Goddess of the Night.

"And?" I asked.

"Nyx is my favorite Goddess." Tiningnan ko ito na para bang naweweirduhan sa kanya pero sa totoo lang ay tuwang tuwa ako. Shit, I'm someone's favorite!

"Why? I thought everyone thought that I- I mean she's a villain?" I asked. Ayun ang nabasa ko kaya hindi ko inasahan na ako pa ang paborito niya.

"No she's not!"

"How do you say so?" Now I feel like I'm making her hate me. But no, I just want to know her reason.

"I love the night kaya nung nalaman ko na siya ang Goddess of the Night ay siya agad ang naging paborito ko, kahit na sa mga librong nababasa ko ay sinasabing masama siya. How can everyone say na she's evil eh laging ang ganda ng gabi, I know that she's making it beautiful every night along with Selene and Astraea. Saka she only lived in Tartarus dahil sa dark nature niya, not because she's a villain! Tsk wala ngang nakalagay sa kahit anong libro kung may nagawa ba siyang masama eh, how dare they say na masama si Nyx, ah basta ako para sakin she's the best and she's my favorite period." Wow mortals.

How did they know these kind of informations? Is this coincidence? Because if this is then wow, saktong sakto dahil iyon talaga ang mga nangyayari.

Me being in Tartarus and me with Selene and Astraea. I think a God or Goddess helped the writer or a God or Goddess is one of the writer.

But oh well nevermind. I still can't believe that I'm Alice's favorite Goddess. I chose the right bestfriend.

"You're right. I also think na hindi naman masama si Nyx, that writer is just awful and mor-- I mean people are easily fooled. Infact, Nyx is also ny favorite and also Erebus." I told her, nagningning naman ang mga mata nito na tila ba tuwang tuwa sa sinabi ko.

"Finally! Someone who shares the same taste with me! Yung iba kasi na nakakausap kong mahilig sa Gods and Goddesses ay nakakasagutan ko dahil sa pagtatanggol kay Nyx, hays she should reward me for this. I wanna see her!" I smirked, I'm already infront of you Alice.

"I'm sure that she knew that you're her tagapagtanggol. Besides they know what always happen here." Napatango ito. Reward huh?

Being my friend is her reward I think? Matatawag bang reward to eh hindi niya naman alam? But still, she became my friend so it is a reward I think?

"Bye Nyx! See you tomorrow!" Kinawayan ko si Alice na ngayon ay nakasilip sa bintana ng taxi na sinasakyan niya.

Pagkaalis niya ay dumiretso na ako sa Tartarus, and there I saw Erebus smirking at me. I glared at him. I know that he knew what happened.

"Someone's happy." He teased kaya naman siniko ko ito bago niyakap.

"Shut up Erebus. Let's go." Humiwalay ako rito saka nagsimula nang maglakad paalis. Naramdaman ko naman ang pagsunod nito sa akin.

"Sinwerte ka sa kaibigang nahanap, turned out that you're her favorite." Pagsisimula nito. Tinanguan ko naman.

I really didn't expect to be Alice's favorite. Akala ko ay isa sa Holy Three ang gusto niya o kaya ay sila Athena. They're always the favorite of mortals.

"And I'm one of your favorite huh?" Nilingon ko ito at kita ko ang naglalarong ngisi sa kanyang labi.

"Of course, you're always my favorite Erebus. Don't make it a big deal. It's not like this is your first time to know it." Inirapan ko ito bago bumaling sa ibaba.

The sky is slowly getting dark and the stars are showing one by one. My darkness is slowly eating the light, it's night time.

"It is your first time saying it!" Right.

"Because it's the first time I had the chance to say it, don't tell me you didn't know you're my favorite? Bakit sino ang akala mong paborito ko?" Ngumuso ito dahil sa sinabi ko.

"I thought you're favorite is Selene and Astraea." What the fuck. Umiwas pa ito ng tingin at parang nahihiya sa sinabi. I almost laughed at his statement. Oh God he's jealous of the two.

I cupped his face for him to face me, kita ko ang pagkapula ng mukha nito.

"I didn't know you're the jealous type. Sa tagal na natin ay ngayon ka lang nagkaganito. Erebus, you're my favorite okay? You'll always be my favorite hmm I love you." I kissed his lips to erase the jealousy in his mind.

Gahd babae pa ang pinagselosan, pag nalaman ito ng dalawa ay siguradong aasarin nila ang asawa ko and I'm sure there will be a sparring na magaganap pag nagkataon. Pikon si Erebus eh, at mapang asar si Selene at Astraea.

"I think I'm the happiest man right now, knowing that I'm your favorite and hearing your 'I love you' that's so rare! I love you wife." I chuckled.

Oo nga pala, sa aming dalawa ay mas showy at sweet si Erebus but that doesn't mean that I love him less, I can't even live without him. Mahal na mahal ko ang Diyos na nasa tabi ko ngayon.
