It's a blood bath. Limbs scattered all over the ground. Some people dead, other's barley holding on.
" SANEMI!" She claws at the men holding her against her own will. There laid the love of her life, dying. He'd given up, he's ready to cross the bridge to death, to join his siblings, to meet his mother again. She fights against her captors to be by his side.. She can't loose him too. Not after everything they've been through. Not after everyone she's already lost
She finally gets to his side and grasps his hand.
" Sanemi, you said, you promised that after everything was over, you would marry me. You promised me that after we defeat the demons, we would start a family. Sanemi, you can't leave me behind after all the promises you've made to me. You can't take the easy way out. " She grasps his hand, almost praying,
" Sanemi, please don't leave me. " Her voice is but a whisper. She can barely see his face behind all of the bandages but the people around them gasp when they see movement.
" A spring wedding.." She almost missed it. Her eyes dart up to see his strained smile. His hand gently squeezing back.
" Yah.. a spring wedding under the cherry blossom trees. " She whispers back and bends down to rest her forehead on his.
Two broken souls, left behind by so many, maybe they can finally be at peace, together.
