Just want to be clear that nothing will happen between Danny and Dwight smh. This is a dbd x reader. Not a shipping thingy, man. Also you guys are really sweet ♥️ glad to have a happy lil community like this. You guys know that I build up the story before sinning. Rushing into it is a sin itself smh. Also when I was writing butt, I fucking giggled lmao. Now, on with the sin...

Dwight entwined his fingers with my own and pulled me along.

"H-hey! What's wrong?" I looked around and saw nothing. Something set him off though... His hand clamped my mouth shut and he settled me down on the floor. His eyes pleaded for me to be quieter. I wordlessly obliged and ran my eyes across the landscape but I still didn't pick up on anything. He perked up and looked through the cracks of the tattered wall; his heart throbbed against my back and I could feel his quick breaths on the top of my head. I mumbled into his hand, attempting to get the cute dorks attention. He looked down with a face that screamed fear, that look was evident.

"Shh... I'm sorry for being- well, weird b-but, I saw-"

A dark laugh cut Dwight off, "so this where you two ran off to..." The infamous Ghostface stepped out of the shadows and twiddled with his knife. The dim moonlight reflected off it, showing the dried blood of our comrades. They were both savagely murdered, only playing the game they were forced to partake in. As Ghostface made his endearing speech about his love for murder, Dwight's lips brushed against my ear. He whispered only one word.

"Run."

We both took off in opposite directions, catching our killer off guard.

"Hey! I wasn't finished!"

I kept sprinting despite my lungs already giving out on me. I just happened to reach the killer shack. It was barely standing at this point; looked abandoned. Then again we always think so... I stepped through the window and ventured into the ominous basement. Hopefully no one looted this chest yet, and if they have maybe they left something behind. Blood splattered around with each step I took and the substance coated my shoes.

It stuck to the floor when I entered the dry nook where the chest was sitting. I hate this wall here... It blocks my view of the stairs. There was a yellow med kit sitting inside the box. This was the one Quentin brought in... Huh. Does that mean there's a green med kit laying around? I scoffed to myself and picked it up.

"You'll need that when I'm done with you." I whipped around to see Ghostface with an unconscious Dwight on his shoulder. My eyes softened at the sight of him. A painless death is what that he deserves.

"What game are you playing here, Ghostie?"

He giggled in response, putting his free hand over his mouth in a playful manner. "Oh me? Well, Dollface I have something special in mind for you..." Upon hearing his words my stomach filled with butterflies. Why the fuck am I feeling this way and why do his words have this affect on me!? He gingerly set Dwight on the floor, his glasses falling out of place. My knees dropped by his side and I began checking for cuts; all the while making sure he wouldn't try anything funny.

Ghostface huffed besides me and crouched next to Dwight. I glanced at the masked man for a split second before I continued to tend to Dwight.

"I didn't do anything to him, if that's what you're worried about..." Ghostface pushed Dwight's glasses back into place and stared at me. His gaze burned into the side of my head. "He actually ran into a tree and fell... Funny little guy, isn't he?" I stopped and pursed my lips. That does kind of seem like something Dwight would do...

I guess he really is okay... Ghostface sighed and started speaking again, "You like him don't you?"

"Yeah," I admitted. "What of it?" He put his hands up defensively shaking them around.
