Chapter 7: advice

Vylad's PoV

I think...I think I'm in love, with Dante. But I'm not that sure yet. I mean what even is love really?

Maybe I should ask Aphmau for help, she seems to have a lot of experience with guys chasing her around all the time and she's dated a few times. That's perfect.

I went upstairs to find Aphmau. She was sitting on the couch with Katelyn and Kawaii chan.

"Hey Vylad!" Aphmau greeted me

"Um hey," I said quietly

"Are you okay?" She asked a worried expression on her face

" y-yeah can we talk for a second?" I asked

"Sure!" She said

"Alone?" I asked

Katelyn gave me a death stare and I started to fear for my life.

"Sure!" She chirped getting up

We walked back down to the basement and over to my bed sitting down on it.

"So what do you want to talk about?" She asked

"I think I'm in love," I started

She looked at me scared.

"N-no I'm not In love with you," i reassured her

"Okay, who are you in love with then?" She asked curiously

"D-Dante," I said, my face turning red

"REALLY!" She shouted, then covered her mouth realising she just shouted that

"Y-yeah I think," I replied

" well give it some time, trust me you'll know if you are in love with him eventually," she said

" thanks Aph," I smiled at her

She smiled back and walked up stairs, leaning me alone with my thoughts.

I decided to text Dante. Pulling my phone out of my pocket and turning it on.

Dante's PoV

My phone beeped as I got a message, I took my phone out of my pocket to check who it was.

V: hey Dante

D: hey

V: can I ask you a question?

D: sure go for it

V: how do I tell someone I love them?

My heart dropped as soon as I red that message, but I tried to ignore it.

D: just go for it, I mean it depends on who it is

V: how would you like someone to tell you they love you?

D: idk I guess with a simple I love you

V: okay, thanks Dante your the best

D: yeah, you're welcome

V: see you tomorrow

D: bye

I put my phone down next to me, taking a deep breath. I don't know why I was so upset that Vylad is in love with someone. I love him, yeah, but he's not mine. He can be with whoever he wants, why does it hurt so much at the thought of him being with someone else.

My vision went blurry, as my eyes filled with tears. But I tried not to let them stream down my face. I tried to stay strong, but it's hard.

(A/n): where I just wrote 'I tried to stay strong', I accidentally wrote 'I tried to stay straight' XD

That was just too funny for me.
