Chapter 24: unexpected visitor

Laurance's PoV

" Laur?" I heard Garroth ask

" Mhm," I mumbled, my eyes were still closed and I was still half asleep

I felt my bead dip down and two arms wrap around my waist, pulling me closer to  Garroth's body.

I turned around and snuggled into his chest, as he played with my hair.

I heard the raindrops fall outside and snuggled even closer to Garroth.

He gently kissed me in my forehead, making me blush.

I opened my eyes and looked at Garroth. His eyes were closed now too.

I sat up, breaking free from his grip.

"Morning," Garroth said, opening his eyes

I got up and sat on top of him. His face turned bright red.

"L-Laurance w-what are you d-doing?" He stuttered

" stutter king ," I teased

"H-hey!" He exclaimed

I laughed and got off of him, stretching and yawning.

Garroth picked me up and carried me out of the room.

" G-Garroth," I stuttered

" hah, you're the stutter queen," he teased

" s-shut up," I said, wrapping my arms around Garroth's neck and my legs around his waist

" l Love you too," he said nuzzling my neck

Do you really though?

He took me to the kitchen and sat me down on one of the many chairs. Then he started to cook breakfast.

I guess Dante and Travis went out early again.

I sighed then looked out the window, it was raining but the rain was calming in a way.

I was so lost in thought that I didn't realise Garroth had asked me a question.

" u-um what?" I asked

"Are you okay? Lately you've seemed out of it," he said

"I'm fine," I sighed

He placed a plate in front of me, but before I could start eating I was pulled to my feet and into a tight embrace.

"Tell me if anything's wrong okay, I care about you Laurance and you know I'll always help you through anything, I promise," he said, brushing his fingers through my hair

I nodded then sat back down.

Time skip

After we finished eating, Garroth and I sat cuddled up on the couch.

Knock knock knock

Then the door knocked.

I hesitantly got up from the place I sat, in Garroth's arms and opened the door.

"Cadenza?" I questioned

"the one and only!" Cadenza chirped

I was happy to see her, since I haven't seen her in ages, but what will she think when she finds out I like boys?

"Come in," i said, trying to hide the fact I was nervous

I sat back next to Garroth, but up straight. Garroth noticed what I was doing.

"It'll be okay," he whispered in my ear

His voice made my face heat up.

Cadenza closed the door behind her and came to sit next to me.

"Hi Garroth," Cadenza greeted Garroth

"Hi," he replied

I took a deep breath and relaxed a bit.

"So Cadenza, what brings you here?" I asked
