Chapter 14: mall

Travis's PoV

As I walked through the house I noticed that it was unusually quiet. Maybe the others are still asleep.

I turned on the tv and decided to binge a Netflix series.

Vylad's PoV

I woke up in what I thought was my room, but as I opened my eyes I found myself in Dante's arms.

My face turned bright red. Then I remembered the dream I had last night, thank god he's okay.

I closed my eyes again and just enjoyed his company.

A few minutes later I opened my eyes again to find Dante staring at me. My face turned red and so did his.

"S-sorry," he stuttered, quickly looking away

" don't be," I giggled

I saw his face go a darker shade of red, so I decided to sit up. He did the same.

Our eyes met again, as we got lost in each other's eyes.

" D-Dante?" I stuttered

" yeah?" He asked, not taking his eyes off me

"D-do you know when I said I have a crush," I said

"Yeah," he said looking disappointed

" and I said it was a really pretty girl," I carried on

"Mhm," he looked like he was about to cry

" w-well, I lied to you," I admitted

"Why?" He said wiping a tear from his eye

"B-because I was scared...scared to tell you the truth," I said starting to cry a bit too

He pulled me into a tight hug

"Don't be," he said

Travis's PoV

I decided to get up and go to the mall. I could really use the fresh air, after all living with three other males is hard.

I got into my car and drove off.

When I got to the mall, I went to get something to eat, as I realised I haven't eaten yet.

After I finally ate something, I decided to just walk around the mall and maybe check out a few shops.

In the distance I saw two familiar faces. I decided to go over and say hi.

It was Aphmau and Zane.

"Hey guys!" I said cheerfully

"Hi Travis!" Aphmau exclaimed

I looked to Zane who had his usual annoyed look on his face. Aphmau noticed this too.

She gave him a nudge and gestured for him to say hi to me.

"Hi," He groaned

I smiled at him. I saw him pull up his mask higher. I didn't know why, but I didn't question him. Aphmau giggled which caused him to pull up his mask even further.

"Zane?" I questioned

"What?" He said annoyed

"Why do you keep pulling up your mask," I asked

He didn't answer me. Aphmau giggled again.

"He's just trying to hide his freckles," Aphmau said smiling

" A-Aph!" He shouted

"Wait Zane you have freckles?" I asked confused

He nodded

" show me!" I shouted exited

"No," he said

"Pleaseee," begged

"No,"

"But freckles are cute," I said

He looked down at his feet. I swear I saw his face turn pink, must just be my imagination.

Zane's PoV

Why does my face heat up and I get butterflies in my stomach when I'm around Travis?

Ugh, I just need him to go away so I can hopefully get rid or this feeling.

"Anyway Travis, if you want to you can hang out with me and Zane," Aphmau said

Great, this is just what I needed...

"Sure, I'd love to," he said

I took a deep breath and walked off with the two of them.
